"Really impressed with the resort overall. Very well suited for families with young children with water park, entertainment. Not a good spot for people who want an adult only environment. "The rooms upon arrival need to be inspected. I had to room change multiple times, 1st room was dirty and the 2nd room had a broken tv with no tube curtain. They did come quickly to address the issue with the TV, however after traveling over 8 hours and multiple trips to the front desk more than an apology was expected. The bar, pool and restaurant staff were very pleasant. The food could use an overhaul and update the entertainment. Transportation should also be provided or at least cheaper than...

"The pictures looked nothing like the resort. The resort was run down, every lounger was broken, hammocks had holes etc. The room was not the cleanest- mirrors had a thick film, perimeter + corners all had debris. The food in the pictures did not exist and in fact the food was awful! It was the same everyday, beans rice + meat. The view however was amazing, the staff was great and the drinks were nice and stiff. "

"Great beach. Coarse shell sand but still ok on bare feet. Not overly busy and right off the resort. Waves not really big enough to boogie board on but good for smaller kids to play. "The view of the volcano from this resort was amazing. The hot springs were a great addition! It saved money staying here than going elsewhere and buying a day pass. The food was very good and the pool bar was very reasonable priced. Room was spacious and clean. Would definitely stay again. Make sure to zip line!"

"Overalls a decent trip and all serving staff and welcoming staff were wonderful. Our concierge Kevin was very helpfull and available. Food was good! I was disappointed in the replenishment of drinks and snacks in our room…the last day we had no face clothes replaced and the hotel lotion bottle not replaced. To me these little things that moved my rating down…outside of that it was a really good experience. "

"Property is clean but dated. Breakfast buffet is not great. Omlette station was nice. The rest is of poor quality. Very expensive drinks but they were very good. Do yourself a favor and get all your food, drinks, coffee anywhere else. Nice game area. Lots of toucans and other birds and animals to be seen easily. Power went out a few times each night. Very small rooms but you can make it work. "

"Same menu for the entire stay, with not much variation... so-so snacks. The chicken nuggets and hamburgers were awful. Room had no view- just looking at palm trees. Did not feel welcomed at all. Everyone seemed to have a chip on their shoulder... "

"This place is a birder’s paradise. They have every tropical habitat you could want on the back trails, and proper guides to spot the birds. The rooms are very good, the front desk staff was charming. The views are spectacular. The feeders are jammed with birds. Only negative was that we were almost totally rained off for 24 hours, but that’s what can happen in a rainforest. I already want to return. "
