"When I arrived to the resort i was able to upgrade my room for 3 of the 4 nights. On bight 4 i was transferred to the original room i booked which was the tripical superior. I did not like it. They do not give you wash cloths. They give you these disposable paper cloths. Horrible. The bath room smelled like a sewer because of the toilet. If you decide to stay in the tropical Superior rooms bring your own wash cloths and air fresheners for the room. I highly recommend you upgrade your room....

"Pros: Entertainment 10 out of 10. Excellent nightly entertainment. Friendly entertainment staff. Beach 10 out of 10. Great. Clean beach with snorkeling right of the beach. No boat traffic, very tranquil. Drinks were excellent. Bar staff were amazing. Will make you anything you want. Cons: House keeping was not very good. We had to hunt them down to clean our room. After placing multiple calls to front desk noone showed up for 3 days. Food was just OK. Not a lot of selection in the evenings....

"My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in mid June. First, compared to other resorts that are within walking distance of downtown. Avila has the best private beach. There are plenty of beach chairs and palapas. The outside areas are well maintained. The staff was friendly. "I chose the Royal Sea Aquarium Resort for a solo birthday trip, and overall I had a good experience. "We stayed for 5nights and it was great. The view from the hotel period is beautiful you don’t need a ocean front room, we had room 33 lol and it had 3 other rooms on our side with a big balcony it was close to the beach pool bar everything. It’s a great location close to everything! They have hookah at the hotel as well it’s $60. Just book it, it’s lit, people from the cruise ship stop by that bar and for the view so it gets lit! "Coral Estates is simply amazing, the staff, the restaurants, the pool, the location, it can't be beat!! Also, its in a perfect location to go to all the beaches on the west end, and its not a bad drive to Willemstad/downtown area. We absolutely loved this place, and it was even more fun because Curacao was playing in the World Cup, and the resort was decorated for it. We will definitely return again!!"
