"Awesome 3 night stay in early May in a nicely decorated and refurbished over water bungalow. Quiet and tranquil. Spectacular views from all the bungalows and around the property. Excellent service. A hands on general manager who personally greets each guest and who was always available for questions and comments. As an avid paddle boarder I enjoyed use of the boards provided for guests. The bungalows sit in waist deep water perfect for swimming, walking, or watching the Eagle Rays swim by."

"Such a welcoming staff. Property was very clean and we were super satisfied with our King Room third floor ocean view! Wow! My only comment would be limited breakfast buffet and they need a real coffee machine. Other wise the a la carte menu was extensive and very high quality."

"One of my favorite things about Manava was the authentic Polynesian vibe. Beautiful place, wonderful staff. Loved being able to snorkel off our own deck - did a premium overwater bungalow for 2 days and private soaking pool bungalow for 1 day. It was fun to experience both types of rooms. It is on the main island so you don't need to pay extra to come off the atolls. It feels like old time tahiti, with shows a couple nights a week. "The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room smelt of fresh paint, clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchenette area was a good size. The location is approximately 15 minute taxi drive from the airport, which was perfect, especially with an early morning flight. The only disappointment is no onsite restaurant.
