"Lovely clean room kept spotlessly clean and equipped Pool was huge and great with nice service for drinks and snacks. The restaurants were a bit hit or miss for dinner.. San was really good but the Taitea Brasserie was mediocre. A good hotel in French Polynesia should be able to do much better. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, firstly because of the prices, and secondly because the hotel is connected to a shopping centre with great local cafes and a Carrefour supermarket."

"Nice hotel but it's a stretch to call it a 3 star hotel (hotel rating not Expedia rating) at least by USA standards. Reception and the restaurant are located on the beach while the rooms are across the road (the only road on the island). On the positive side is great, friendly, helpful staff, very nice beach, included decent breakfast and an above average, reasonably priced restaurant. The latter two are more important because there are very limited number of restaurants on the island...

"Well situated in downtown Papeete. The adjoining coffee shop is a definite plus. The rooftop bar (called Reeftop) is open to the public and is hopping in the evenings, which makes the one hot and cramped elevator impossible to get. Be prepared to walk the stairs up and down. You overall a good hotel, but very expensive for not many amenities, such as no pool and no gym, no handcream, etc."

"It was a very good resort with a nice beach and pool. The lagoon is not the best for snorkeling in. I would go back to this resort if I went to Tahiti again."

"I didn’t like being billed for the boat to and from the island. They told me that since I booked through Expedia that was not included. Only told that at check out and we got on and off the boat with other people. Kind of sleezy. I don’t k ow whose fault that was,expedias or La Pearl"

"This Hotel was very cute and such a great idea for an eco friendly place! Small with its quirks (bunk bed style a bit difficult to climb, auto water buttons that you push in shared baths every min or so while showering, and no give in a late checkout) but such great staff, helpfulness on letting us hang out before our midnight flight! Luggage stow and getting to take that shower before the flight was a bonus! Cafe food was great and top floor bar sunset view was amazing! Count on spending for...
