"Property looks great and beach is very nice. Staff mostly very good like front desk beach staff. Restaurants have mix of some very good servants and some need more training. Overall most of the staff could speak better english for better comprehension. There many visitors from US. Food quality mostly delicious but manu limited (short) for some reason. "This is one of our favourite hotels. The view from our room 545 was outstanding and the hotel facilities were fantastic. The Polynesian show was very entertaining. The staff very friendly and helpful. Love love staying here. Carrefour across the street is also very handy with direct hotel access. The restaurants are also quite good. We will definitely stay again on our next visit. We are from Australia and this is one of our favourite South Pacific destinations."

"Great 5 days. Fantastic place. Right on the water. Comes with two kayaks which we used every morning and evening. Beautiful sunset. Beautiful veranda porch. Nice bedrooms, queen size beds. Good air conditioners in the bedrooms which cool the whole house. Good refrigerator. Microwave is in a very strange place and hard to use. Outer was really great. Never used an indoor one. Gas stove was good, but don’t forget to turn the gas on and off. Neighbors were wonderful. Meet George the old fisherman....

"Nice hotel but it's a stretch to call it a 3 star hotel (hotel rating not Expedia rating) at least by USA standards. Reception and the restaurant are located on the beach while the rooms are across the road (the only road on the island). On the positive side is great, friendly, helpful staff, very nice beach, included decent breakfast and an above average, reasonably priced restaurant. The latter two are more important because there are very limited number of restaurants on the island...

"I didn’t like being billed for the boat to and from the island. They told me that since I booked through Expedia that was not included. Only told that at check out and we got on and off the boat with other people. Kind of sleezy. I don’t k ow whose fault that was,expedias or La Pearl"

"It was a very good resort with a nice beach and pool. The lagoon is not the best for snorkeling in. I would go back to this resort if I went to Tahiti again."

"Amazing staff made this stay a true dream. Completely private island, fantastic food, and perfect place for a home base for scuba or just relaxing. Birds, coconut crabs, and even a resort dog! Absolutely recommend and would come back any time!"

"My room was very clean and the staff (especially clement!) were so kind and very helpful! My room AC worked perfectly and the location was great for what I was looking for. My only complaint is that it was a bit challenging to slide my bag under to store it and be able to come down from the top bunk without stepping on top."
