"Location and staff were great!"

"Hotel location excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Downside for us was the bed and pillows. We stayed 4 nights and didn't get restful sleep. Bed was hard and feather pillows that almost went flat when you lay on them. There was also quite a lot of stains on carpet in our room 5054."

You can't beat the location as you walk out the door and in a minute you are on the Royal Mile. We had no idea it would be this convenient. "My first impression of the hotel was favorable. Smooth check in, seemingly helpful front desk attendant who gave us a complimentary “upgrade”as we joined the rewards program. Room was fine, looked out the front of the hotel and over the area where the main air conditioning seemed to be housed. Still ok. "Very very noisy at night every single day of the week from the pub across street. With windows closed won’t help. Mixed info was also given, friendly guy staff mentioned can use toaster for own bread brought from supermarket but next morning an Indian girl staff said no, unless pay for breakfast service. Location is the only positive thing to walk around old town and new town by foot."

"We booked The Hoxton as we had previously stayed at the one in Berlin. Our room was in the annexe which we were unaware existed and whilst it was really comfortable and very quiet you felt very detached from the hotel - in fact we never went back apart from to check out. I can't really comment on the staff as we never saw any apart from at check in where they were great. The bed was comfortable, the room is beautifully decorated but quite dark. "The staff were super helpful. Both at check in & checkout, they offered to hold our luggage while we toured the city. And they kept it in a secure room. The room was clean and comfortable. The best part of the hotel was the location It was easily accessible to Royal Mile and the train station I would definitely stay here again."
