"If you want to stay near the pier and good restaurants this is the place to stay. Room 407 had an amazing view of the pier. Friendly staff. Private entrance to The Spot, which is one of our go to places to eat. Has a small play area for the kids. Good pool for the kids too. Doesn't have any shade on the pool though. Cons: not only do you have to pay for parking, the parking garage is actually behind the building across a street. I mean its helpful that its in a garage to block out the TX heat....

"Our flight was an evening flight they let us do a late check out at noon. Then held our luggage for free while we.did some sight seeing then we retrieved it before heading to the airport."

"Only 2 elevators one was out of service,hotel was at capacity. Room cleaned only once with a 5 day stay. Could only have 3 towels per room no more. Yes, close to beach but hotel was not worth the $ that we paid, looked outdated. Pictures on website not accurate. Parking full and not secured for vehicles. Not recommended!"

"The staff were very nice and accommodating. The Hotel lobby and Food areas are very nice, but even with renovations the rooms are old, but clean. Could hear people in the next rooms and it sounded like kids were jumping off the beds up stairs for most of the night. Not quite sure if the higher price was worth it as you are not really on the River walk, it does start across the street so it was very near. Honestly will probably pick a different hotel next time as I think there are better ones for...

"First and foremost, the staff was great. Amenities on property were as described. Property maintenance and upkeep is biggest room for improvement. I will not make a laundry list of issues here, but what you would expect from a place in this price range."

"The room was clean, but the covers were so thin that we were grateful that we took blankets. As per the pillows, Ive stayed at my fair share of hotels and each had given us at least 2 sets on each bed. Well we only had a total of 4 thin pillows for 2 full beds. Another thing was the online picture & the room description said beds would be queen size beds & I can attest both were full. The ac takes forever to cool the room down. Overall: hotel gets a 3.
