I paid for executive room and the manager said that they are overbooked hence, can only give me a standard room (thats the only room left for that day). Helllowww, I have prepaid all my rooms and yet the hotel gave my room to someone who paid even lesser than me. The manager said things happened and it is better next time to book direcly with the hotel, not via third party. So I told them, that is not an...

"I had a great stay at the Point A Hotel in King’s Cross. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and it had everything I needed for a short stay. The location is also very convenient, especially if you’re arriving or departing by train. It’s a great option for a quick stopover or layover in London. "Very dated and beware of "Deluxe King Room"...I expected a street/building view as I didn't pay for Garden or River view; however, I ended up looking inside a small dingy courtyard with mechanical equipment. Requested an early check-in as flying on redeye from U.S.: they understandably said they couldn't guarantee and would text me when the room was ready. They never did but I went to hotel at check-in time of 3pm and room was ready. Very, very dated and dark. "

"The staff were so friendly, warm and genuine. The location was absolutely perfect, couldn't believe the view of the castle from our room. Comfortable beds & lovely room. The only slight draw back was the noise from the pubs opposite at night, but the castle view more than made up for this."
