"We wished we had stayed more than just one night at this great property. The tents are lovely and beautifully decorated. We were even supplied with candles, a lantern and eye shades. It was cozy and very comfortable. The service house and the "barn" are over and above and would make great gathering spots for extended families or large group of friends. We walked down to the beach and discovered swans and a seal just off the shore!"

"This is a great place if you want immerse yourself in nature, and are looking for something different than an impersonal hotel in the city. View is amazing from the window, and you can walk up to the mountain in the backyard. There are chickens roaming around, horses in the meadow nearby, and the atmosphere is wonderful. (The roosters will be your nature alarm in the morning :). It is a great way to experience Iceland in an authentic way. There is a shared grill, as well as some picnic tables in...

"Great sleeping barrels with very clean shower and toilet facilities on a side. Additional water access on a side too. Lovely little town."

"Die Hütte ist süß. Ca 10 m vor der Hütte sind warmes und kaltes Wasser - das ist super, nur etwas kompliziert bei Wind;-)) Man sollte wissen: Die Gemeinschaftsküche sowie Bad/Toiletten sind ca 100 m entfernt. Und man sollte lieber vorher woanders Lebensmittel kaufen, da es in der Nähe nur einen sehr teuren „Krambudin“ gibt."

"We were really excited to stay here, but there were multiple reasons we probably wouldn't again. The pictures make these tents looks like they are isolated. Instead they are located in a semicircle 10 feet each other, meaning there is not a lot of privacy and you will hear your neighbors' conversations. The path to get to our assigned tent was only partially cut, walking through 2-ft tall weeds. The screen material on our tent's entrance had a large rip and the zipper didn't work to fully close...

"El lugar donde se encuentran las cabañas es de ensueño. Justo al frente el paso de el rio Vididalsá y atrás un pedazo de cordillera imperante. Río arriba como de 5-7 minutos está el cañón Kolugljúfur. Las cabañas son bien acogedoras y el staff super atento y amable. Recomendado y pico!"
