"The property is right on the beach, clean, with friendly staff. The elevators always smelled clean, the breakfast was hot, delicious and with a great variety. Staff is always around ready to help! Were not disappointed ♥"

"The rooms were just ok. Not as clean as they have been in the past. We had to move rooms due to loud dog barking. Then the second room smelled of dog. We were actually placed in room just below loud dog barking and thumping around. Thankfully we only stayed one night. I don't usually like Continental breakfast but I will say for a Continental breakfast it was better then other places."

"Everyone knows about the elevators ! So I won’t complain much about them , But I would say some of the staff was a bit rude , I blew it off most the time but I wish they wouldn’t have the attitudes they had . We had a really good bartender Jameson ! He was fast & got us in & out ! The staff at the Alabama ice Cream shop were also Great ! Got us in & out as well , super friendly! Definitely recommend coming to Laketown Wharf"

"This property was very cozy and was easily accessible to the beach and other amenities. It was really clean and the beds were extremely comfortable!"

"Check in was supposed to be at 4 they but they said the room wasn't ready, so it came back around 5 o'clock and our room still wasn't ready. So they finally proceeded to take us to a room which the lady was still cleaning. So they had to move us to the other side of the building where a room was finally ready."

"What appeared to be blood and what was definitely a skid mark on the sheets and pillowcases. We discovered this after checking in around 1:30 AM. We were brought equally dirty sheets that were also too small for the bed. There were bugs in the beds, mold/mildew above the threshold, and water leaks all over the ceiling. The staff were not helpful, and just tried to get me to stop saying things in front of other guests. Terrible experience overall, and a waste of my money and limited PTO. Just...

"It was a good stay for the price. The lighting in the bedroom was only a lamp. Only one little trash can in the bed room. No table to sit at and eat. These things might be essential but you can do with out. I will say the pool needs more attention as to cleaning everyday and blowing all the leaves and little bits around the pool. It is under renovation and they are doing a good job. Overall it was a good stay. Would come back. The staff was polite and answered request."
