"Lotus: Clean rooms. Front desk is very informative. Taxi service is usually readily available right outside Lotus. They also have their own golf carts to rent. Spa treatment was great. Guru restaurant food at lotus was great (two plates we ordered ceviche and the black angus burger with truffle fries - best truffle fries I’ve had anywhere, ask for the habanero hot sauce it’s delicious) although they close the beach access from lotus relatively early in the evening you still have access to it...

"The only thing we didn't like about our stay was the DJ at the pool twice in our week playing female degrading vile rap music while young drunk girls were rockin' it making a scene in the pool. Thought we were in Cancun! Won't prevent us from coming back but if we see that crap, we head back to the beach or elsewhere."

"The mint was a good deal for the price. The staff was friendly, the room was clean. The only thing that would make me not choose to stay there again would be the lack of hot water in the showers. Some people said to let it run for a while and it would get hot, but that never happened in my room. Besides for that it was a great stay."

"I'll be honest. I was expecting a lot more from this hotel. You can't approach the rooms without walking through sand and with your feet covered in sand, there is nowhere to wash your feet outside of your room. In other words, we had sand all over our floor everyday. The water pressure was absolutely horrible in the showers. You turn the shower on at full blast and all you get is a mere trickle. Showering was tricky. Also, I think the drainage for manure is somewhere behind the property. It's a...
