"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Mother daughter trip and I appreciated that the resort wasn’t geared towards couples only. Friendly staff, shout out to Stefany, Raul, Mariasol, Nelvia, and everyone else we encountered! It was a bday trip and I loved the little cake and the special room decoration for me. Great pools, good beach with enough chairs/umbrellas for all. Food was great overall! Loved the breakfast buffet and Nami. The Italian place and the lunch seafood place was maybe a 3.5 or 4/5....

"Sandos was an okay resort, the water activities like kayaks and paddle boards were extra so that was a surprise as I assume these would be included. We had 2/5 restaurants closed while visiting for our last 2 days with no notice so I would ask about that also while staying. Overall was clean and staff was very friendly."

"Was booked into try Beach house but when the taxi dropped me it was locked and all lights off. I received no notification of this and it was close to midnight by the time I arrived. I went to the other hotel which wasn’t easy to find on maps. They upgraded me to a suite but it wasn’t the beach I expected. The area is in the heart of Playa del Carmen and wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for a quiet place to unwind. The fire alarm went off one night with no explanation as well."

"Estuvimos en periodo de “low season”. Por esta razon, casi no habia desayuno bufet, no habia bar en la piscina, ni para comer ni para cenar, lo cual no es justo ya que en la descripción de la propiedad y en la reserva se indica BAR, RESTAURANTE, etc. pedimos reembolso para poder irnos a otro hotel y NO lo aceptaron. Mal por expedia, mal por la propiedad. No repetiremos lamentablemente."
