"We stayed at Yadotu Kyoto Hanare for 6 days and it was amazung!! This place is truly extraordinary - you get lots of space, full comfort and luxury in real, authentic Japanese way. It was a real pleasure to come back to this wonderful home after a long day filled with fantastic experiences. We are very thankful for having the opportunity to stay here. It made our adventure in Japan even more unforgettable. I would highly recommend this amazing place."

"The room was spacious with 2 individual beds and a bunk bed for the kids, small kitchenette and efficient bathroom. The hotel offers a wide variety of amenities and loaner items in case you forgot something. The hotel is located within 10 minutes from. Nijo castle and a subway station. Bus 29 stops in front of Nijo castle and takes you to Kinkaku-ji temple. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Such an unforgettable Japanese experience in the heart of Kyoto! The traditional house is well kept and equipped, offers us a very comfortable place for living. The place is centrally located, close to JR and metro stations. Close by there are plenty of shopping and dining opportunities, all very local. Communication with the ower was easy and responsive. Highly recommended and I will stay here again next time!"

"Room very clean, very nice Ryokan, however once we checked in iterally there was 0 staff usually available for anything. We had questions regarding how to dispose of our garbage and questions one day about no running hot water, there were explanation sheets but 0 personal available which for we had never experienced before. The laundry service in the room was helpful but again we had to use google translate to figure it out because there was usually no one around."

"Decent gym"

"Instructions unclear about accessing property. We took a cab from kyoto station to the property where we had no access to enter. Apparently you need to go to an office near kyoto station before you are allowed into the property. Once there the staff did coordinate travel to the property. The property location was nice with many restaurants and shops with a 15-20 minute walk. Property was very nice with clothes washer and a way to dry the clothes as well as Instructions for how everything worked...

"We had a wonderful stay at The Royal park Canvas Nijo. We loved the location right across from Nijo Station. We also fell in love with the Life supermarket a block away and enjoyed shopping there. There are a variety of restaurants near by too we tried a few but if you are on a budget the Life Market nightly discount bentos are tasty and a great deal. Where else can you get a bento for less than $5 CAD. We had a triple room. So it was 2 single bed with a made up sofa bed. The rooms are ok size...

"We had a balcony but it would have been nice to sit out but no chairs also no wedge to keep the door open. The privacy curtain was slightly stained and needed cleaning. It took us five days before we noticed there was no tv! All the staff were great and so helpful with booking restaurants and taxis. We enjoyed the reasonably priced western breakfast."
