"The property is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. However, unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. There is very little variety, and almost every day we found ourselves eating the same things. I was especially disappointed by the lack of authentic Mexican food, which is something I expected to enjoy while visiting Mexico. Instead, the food options felt heavily Americanized, with too much fast food and very few traditional Mexican dishes. Honestly, the food...

"Hot tub was not working, but they still tried to upgrade you to a cabana by the pool? Only about 40 couples in the hotel. It would have been great customer service to say - due to our hot tub not working for weeks - you get a free cabana for a day or two. Instead the just tried to get a room or cabana upgrade. The hotel along with pool area Smelled horrible- Sargassum. Food was very good, but limited choices. Hot water takes a very long time for showers. Lack of entertainment. Beach,...

"We have been to this RIU 7x. Still an amazing experience. Two areas have declined however. The first is the buffet. Was once Las Vegas level. Supreme. Now closer to Golden Corral. Second is room service. Nothing but 7-Eleven sandwiches on the menu. Needs more options for those nights you don't want to go out."
