"Great history, and attentive staff - a real luxury stay. Pool and spa were fabulous. However, there was no mirror in the bedroom (for hairdryer) and unfortunately the milk in the fridge was off on the second day (not-checked) - minor issues that slightly spoiled the stay, but when paying a premium price, don't expect flaws!"

"The hotel was very nice. It was clean, the staff was friendly and very accommodating. Great location to access food, shopping and entertainment. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent ( staff incredible). The negative was when we got to the airport and called the hotel to get transportation the concierge told us that they don’t have transportation ( although my reservation said 24 hour pick up and drop off. They said it was false, so I had to get a taxi at a cost of over 100 pounds. When we...

"Excellent location if you're a Theater District fan and love Covent Garden and the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. My room was very nice (renovated walk-in shower) and staff allowed us to check in early at 1100 vs 1500. Breakfast was good except for the coffee, and all staff treated us well. The area felt safe, even at night. "

"the location was perfect, you could leave the front and walk east, west, south or north and be in the heart of it all. We walked over 10 miles a day. Loved our room! The different color options were cool, lots of creativity went into the renovation of this one time bank. Breakfasts were amazing!"

Good location however poor service.

"We checked in late night, sadly they have no room for the type of room that I have paid. I paid for executive room and the manager said that they are overbooked hence, can only give me a standard room (thats the only room left for that day). Helllowww, I have prepaid all my rooms and yet the hotel gave my room to someone who paid even lesser than me. The manager said things happened and it is better next time to book direcly with the hotel, not via third party. So I told them, that is not an excuse. If you want everyone to book directly from the hotel site, just dont work with third party agencies in the beginning. Got the standard room checked in at midnight and the furniture is very old. There is pieces of instant noodles and left over vegetables near the sofa. Very bad maintenance for the standard room according to me. The hot shower did not work properly. The pressure is not high enough, hence making the water wont switch to the shower head. "
