The hotel was unacceptable and not a place for humans. The air conditioning was broken. There were no towels. No hot water. The bathroom was absolutely filthy. There were no lights in the room. None. Even the lamp didn’t work. The outside of the hotel was filled with black cats roaming and staring. I’ve honestly never seen anything more disgusting.

Está muy bien ubicado, es muy tranquilo, la alberca casi todo el tiempo está sola, siempre hay camastros disponibles, acceso directo a la playa, la habitación tiene playa; el único punto a cuidar es el mantenimiento por lo menos de las habitaciones de abajo ya que los jacuzzis no funcionan y se ven viejos, las cortinas también y algunos elementos de los closets y caja de seguridad, la tv nunca tuvo señal

We had paid for a 7 night stay but checked out after the first night because we found the property was not as advertised. The view of the ocean was beautiful and the potential for an amazing facility is there, but there was a lot promised in the description that is not there. We found there is no restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and there is no pool bar as was advertised in the description. There was a restaurant on site open for breakfast only and it did have good food. There are not many places within walking distance, and the location is not great for walking around safely at night. The bathtub had no knobs or plumbing and the hot tub was dirty and unusable. The balcony door did not lock and there was no safe in the room so we did not feel belongings could be left in the room. There was no one on site who could speak English, so unless you are bilingual, communication was a challenge.

It was an older property, but everything was clean and very nice. There’s a nice pool area and the beach was great. It was very quiet and tranquil. The rooms were huge, but they were almost empty and felt cold/uninviting. That would be my only complaint…the room decor needs help. Otherwise the staff was great

Don’t judge this book by its cover!!! This should be the title for the review. First and foremost the staff was very accommodating and personable from the moment you stepped into the building. Very spacious and clean rooms. For people that are looking for peace and quiet it is the perfect place. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it needs a little TLC which they are currently working on. I felt like I had the place all to myself which was great!!!

We had two rooms.The beds were hard as a rock. There were no lamps in one room and the other only had one. The rooms were outdated. It lacked a lot of amenities. The storm doors did not lock and it did close properly. Give this place a few years to bring it up to date. The location is great. The decor of the hotel is nice, the rooms really need to be updated especially the beds. I wish they had vending machines that we can buy drinks in the middle night if we wanted to. Staff was friendly.

Be prepared to bring everything you need not even coffee is provided. The host was okay, but the sheets and bedding quality were not the best. The property feels old and the hotel definitely needs better maintenance and updates.

Hotel y Museo Casa Turquesa I stayed here for one night and unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel. While the location is nice and the price is reasonable, the property itself is highly outdated and shows signs of wear, especially in many exterior areas. More concerning, however, were serious safety and security issues. Check-in around 5:00 PM was quick and easy. After dinner, my wife, my son, and I went to sleep. At approximately 1:30 AM, my cellphone rang from an unfamiliar Mexican number. The caller claimed to be hotel security working with the police. They said they had knocked on my door earlier, which never happened. They then stated they were searching for a stolen car connected to drugs. The call quickly became aggressive, and the person eventually claimed to be part of a cartel. This felt like an attempted extortion or identity scam. We immediately hung up, blocked the number, and called 911. I am not accusing the hotel of being involved, but I find it very concerning that your phone number is the first thing requested at check-in, and this incident occurred the same night we stayed there. What was most disappointing is that the hotel offered no apology, explanation, or compensation after we reported the incident. There was no sense of concern for our safety or well-being. Needless to say, we won't stay again.

Nice staff. Love the art in the hotel. The food was good at breakfast. The cable in my room didn't work was the only thing I would have liked to work better. The beach behind the hotel is next absolutely gorgeous!

We had a very enjoyable stay in our 2 bedroom ocean view room (more of a villa) this February. The hotel is very artsy with some religious and nudist works displayed which some may not appreciate. The hotel is very weathered -its not a fancy 5 star hotel (although it must have been back in the day), the water wasnt always hot and the toilets didnt flush the first time but the central location, gorgeous quiet beach, relaxing and calm ambiance, grand open spaces, comfortable clean beds and superior customer service made it worth it many times over!

It can’t be better… I left in love with the place with the people who work there with the food they cook. Everything was so wonderful that I I don’t know where to start. I work for the industry in NYC and I know about hospitality and they went above and beyond. The place is so cozy and it’s beautiful, location is very convenient. Its clean and the staff is super friendly.

The staff was made up of wonderful people. The issue was the room, it felt like old and there was mould in the shower, saw a roach in the washroom. The biggest issue was the sliding door that leads toward the pool area did not lock properly.

Wonderful staff, amazing location and view. Absolutely perfect. Just concern is, some of the art materials, such as statutes, art pictures are not suitable for the kids, so, if you are couple without kids, the place is great, otherwise, you might think some other places that good for the kids.
