We had a great ocean view. Cute little apartment, 1 bed 1 bath. Nice staff. Only thing I can say was bad was the shower head, needed a new one, and a little stingy on the linens. It also had a little spiral staircase off your balcony to go to beach. Very convenient.

The room was clean and the staff were great. The beach was lovely. Set back and sheltered from the wind for when it is gusty. The pool wasn't so great, and this was across the alley. It should have been noted that there are multiple buildings so we didn't have the expectation that we were beachfront. I would stay there again, but I would clarify.

Outdated furniture and the sheets and towels felt like sand paper. The location is excellent, the staff are great, rooms very clean but whoever owns this property should invest in decor and linen. In a way it's a shame. The property has so much potential.

Room was spotless, and everything needed provided. Only comment for improvement would be better pillows. But they were like many or most of the pillows in Mexico, very hard and oversized. Actual soft pillows would make them a cut above. Otherwise great location, nice beach chairs, loved our stay.

We loved the location, staff was friendly and our suite was fantastic! We stayed in a 2 bedroom family suite. The beds were a bit hard and not the greatest pillows - but I somehow felt amazing every day. You do need to request room cleaning - which we did not need, as we treated it as our "home" and kept things tidy. If we were there more than a week we would have asked. There is a 5 gallon water provided, any additional is 40 pesos. The beach area is wonderful, we never missed a sunrise and really enjoyed the chairs and shade. We will definitely stay at Arrecifes again on our next trip!

The staff went above and beyond. My husband became sick (nothing to do with Mexico or the hotel) and needed an ambulance. The staff were so incredibly helpful, empathetic, and concerned. They helped me with transportation back and forth from the hospital in Cancun. Plus: I don't speak but a few words of Spanish, so it's great that the front desk staff speak English. I can't thank them enough. Arrecifes Suites is just a great place - right on the beach. Such a beautiful locale. We've stayed here before and will definitely stay here again.

I have no choice but to rate the property as poor in all aspects because our room was unapologetically downgraded and the manager was arrogant to say “You did not pay me, you paid Expedia, so go resolve your problems with them”. In brief, upon arrival, we were told that there was a leak in the floor above, so we had to put up with the constant knocking just above the room. Furthermore, we were given a room in the annex building, even though the one we book and paid for was supposed to be in the main one, at least according to Expedia’s receipts. Otherwise the hotel may be a good value for anybody who does not mind being cheated, up priced, and treated with arrogance because that is their vacation and they have no choice.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The walls had holes in it with foot prints all over the walls. The bed was rock hard with a sheet on it that had yellow stains all over it and pubic hairs. The bathroom window was broken and the bathroom was filled flies. The electrical outlet was hanging out of the wall with wires. It was terrible. I have stayed all over the world and this was the worst place I have ever stayed.

The suite which we were allocated was disappointing and very shabby. The electrical fittings were exposed, the outside blinds for the door to the balcony were damaged so that they could not be closed, the curtains were stained and falling apart, and did not keep out the light. There was no automatic servicing, and 24 hours notice was required to order service (not useful when you only are there for three nights!) The mattress was rather hard. The location was good, and the little private beach OK. The pool was in a neighbouring building one block back, and not at all attractive
