"The property is really beautiful; gorgeous views, stunning room, and the private onsen is incredible. Absolutely no feedback on the room, grounds, staff, property, etc all amazing! It’s nice that dinner and breakfast are included given that you are quite a walk uphill from Gora and other restaurants. The food is presented in a beautiful setting and the service was wonderful. That being said, the food itself left much to be desired and given the price, we expected it to taste better. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hakone Sui​sen. The location is fantastic — peaceful, beautiful, and perfectly placed for exploring Hakone. The atmosphere feels truly magical and relaxing from the moment you arrive. The staff were so welcoming and kind, which made the experience even more special. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and very well kept. We felt completely at ease the entire time. This was one of the highlights of our trip and we would happily stay again. Highly recommend!"

"We loved this place - private onsen, foot bath and sauna; so much space; very modern, clean and comfortable. Location was convenient- only 5 minutes walk from Kowakudani station ( although be aware that the walk is along curvy roads and parts of the walk have no footpath so it can be a bit dangerous at night). The only negative is there is no front desk and therefore no luggage forwarding or storage before checkin or after checkout."

"Easy to get to, amazing staff that can flexibly switch from Japanese to English if needed. Food is amazing, the Japanese Breakfast is both beautiful and delicious. Nice accommodations, calm hot springs baths, both public and private. Would return for another Ryokan getaway."

"At the end of a two-week trip to Japan, Hakone Yutowa was a true highlight. We booked one of the condominium suites, which was large even by American hotel standards. The room had its own mineral hot spring bath that faced east and captured a gorgeous sunrise, as well as a spacious sitting room and comfortable beds. "2 parking lot upfront, this hotel locates right outside the gora station. Very convenient. Spa amenity is good. "

"I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff spoke excellent English, and breakfast was amazing. But you have to be prepared to Uber everywhere because the roads aren’t exactly walkable. There are some good food options around - especially Box Burger."
