"We stayed the weekend of July 4th, definitely off peak season (about 60% capacity I think). Our goal was a quiet vacation with lots of relaxation, and this REALLY delivered! In spite of the roasting heat, I would definitely travel again off peak, specifically to stay in a room by the golden (quiet) pool where there are abundant shady pool chairs, poolside service, and daily visits from coatis, agouti, iguanas and so many birds. "Biggest problem is that it’s in the middle of nowhere so unless you know for sure you’re there for the wakeboarding, I would not stay there. Other than that the room was pretty ample and nice. Food was fine."

"The out door pool was amazing ! The bar by the pool and the staff were very friendly and all of the staff were always friendly and helpful . The Palms restaurant and Italian restaurants were our favorite. Unfortunately there were only four restaurants for families and one was only open for breakfast and lunch. One is a buffet that was just okay. The other restaurents in the other resorts are adult only - which one can understand."

"We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride...

"Great room!! Nice view! A little bit far from the center of Puerto morellos (you need a car) and the Sargasse in july was everywhere, with the smell that comes with it."

"First time in Mexico, love the place. Everyone was helpful and inviting. Had a two room suite. Only issue was with toilets. After the first flush, You would need to wait 10 to 15 minutes to get a good second flush. Also didn't really have a fridge, had coolers instead which one was very warm. Staff brought another fridge but was barely cooling also."

"A slice a paradise, with a romantic and boho chic atheistic. The food is delicious with fresh ingredients. It is a boutique hotel which we loved. We had 2 bungalows right on the beach so you can step out and enjoy the sound of the waves and had a choice of sun beds. The beach is rocky so we just used the pool. We had a car so could explore the area but if you want to unwind you could easily just relax there."
