"I have stayed here a few times before, the rooms may be a little dated, the queue for reception and the lifts a little long. But, the cleanliness - and the room/maid service is excellent - an asset to the hotel. And staff lovely and friendly. Location is just what I needed with a tube station close by (High street Kensington). "

"The location is great, and the service is good. However, the furniture is quite old. The beds are already deformed, and I can feel the springs. All the lounge chairs and sofas are missing foam. I had to sit in the corner because the seats are too deep and don’t support my bottom or back. The place really needs some updates. "

"The property is beautifully designed inside and out, but the service overall was inconsistent and the room photos online did not match the room I was assigned - it was somewhat smaller and had a much smaller bathroom that was missing the bathtub altogether. They changed their menu to the spring offerings during my stay and I felt like I was their menu tester or something bc most items I ordered did not match the menu descriptions (a spinach reduction and thyme herb chicken instead of grilled chicken and basil reduction on a buratta salad, malted & cultured butter w bread instead of simple whipped butter as indicated). Mohammed at reception was very accommodating as were the two bartenders, but overall service was not up to par, even for a 4 star hotel. "
