We stayed in the superior loft. Upon arriving everything was clean and tidy. We had everything we needed. We didn’t notice much sounds in the supiorior loft as we were tucked away at the concern of the hallway. The pool area was lovely, however the only this was we had to constantly chase the sun as it moved throughout the day:/ the layout was meh. We actually had to move rooms as we extended our stay. We moved into a smaller room which we actually loved more. There was more light, bigger deck and instead of cement we had glass railing, which allowed more natural light into the space. The only thing we noticed about moving to a new room was the noise. It was a bit louder but we brought a sounds machine with us so that helped:) Really enjoyed. Would come back!

Everything 10/10 but the WiFi. Couldn’t connect most of the time. Was hard to work from the room. Had to go to a local caffe and restaurant that had better WiFi connection

Wasn’t expecting much from my 2-day stay but I would recommend to fix my rooms Shower head (had no pressure) and Toilet would not flush.

Overall, it was nice. I had an issue with the toilet that never was fixed during my stay. I complained about it 3 times. I was told it was corrected all the 3 times. It was not.

My wife and I stayed here from March 19 to 26. We had a first-floor suite with a kitchenette. Overall, it’s a beautiful place. The room was spacious, very clean, and had a small balcony that was more than sufficient for our needs. The rooftop is really nice, although in my opinion it doesn’t have enough space when the hotel is at full capacity—especially if you want to lie down and sunbathe. That said, the pool itself is quite large. Interestingly, the jacuzzi was actually colder than the pool, which felt a bit odd. The main downside was that the front desk staff member we interacted with spoke very little English—or at least didn’t seem willing to make much of an effort. He often switched to Spanish even though it was clear we didn’t understand it. Despite that, we had a great stay overall. The location is excellent—very close to Mega Soriana (a large grocery store) and the fantastic Fuego Santo Steakhouse : )

A decent hotel. I can think of more good things than bad. Full-size refrigerator in the room, which is a little rare to find these days. The rooftop pool area is very pleasant. Good views. Street parking is available but be sure and pay for parking or you will be ticketed. There is a garage on site, but it is very small and narrow. The stairwell is very loud. Decent hotel but I don’t think I’ll be back. Would like to find something closer to the beach.

I had a great stay overall. The pool is amazing, and I really appreciated that my room was cleaned daily with fresh towels consistently provided. The staff was very nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The room itself, especially with the kitchen and balcony, was fantastic and added a lot of comfort to my stay. There were a couple of minor drawbacks: the shower water pressure was a bit low, and the curtains didn’t fully block out the outside light. Aside from these small issues, everything else was excellent, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

We chose this hotel because Expedia gave us a great discount since we are gold members and it exceeded our expectations. It had everything that we needed for our stay and it is in a perfect location. The staff is friendly and welcoming and very accommodating. The rooftop is nice as well. A little bit small in terms of space/it gets busy, but not the end of the world. Would definitely recommend staying.

This was the scariest experience. Was to meet someone at hotel, who was scammed seriously by this hotel. We felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that we didn't end up staying there. Spoke to some other local Canadians who said they also heard similar stories from this hotel. This is what says : BEWARE- MAJOR SCAMMERS!! I booked a reservation through What's App, after grabbing the number from Expedia and Google, +52 984 458 9539.  I paid them directly via transfer to JAZIEL MENDES GUZMAN. Luckily, I insisted on them sending me an invoice, which they resisted originally.  When I arrived, the receptionist told me that the "reservation doesn't exist" and refused to give me a room. She then told me that the phone number I was messaging was the "wrong number " even though it was advertised everywhere! She refused to honor the reservation  I later found out that this is a typical Mexican scam. The receptionist, manager and housekeeper scam people of paying them directly and then they split the money amongst themselves and then play dumb and innocent . Their typical excuses are " we don't have this reservation, There's been a flood, we don't have electricity ".... Where is the owner of this hotel? Zero accountability for taking advantage of tourists.

Hello, Reservation #72071827129533 at Sofía by Bunik. When we arrived, another guest in the lobby was complaining about being bitten during the night and asked to change rooms. His room was next to ours. We inspected our bed and found stains and small dark spots that resemble bed bug signs. For health and safety reasons we left immediately and booked another hotel. We did not stay in the room. I am requesting a full refund of CA $184.94.

The shower was a mess and the shower head wasn't working. The water was coming out except from where it was supposed to come out, and the water splashed all over the bathroom while taking a bath. I spent 10-15 after the shower drying the floors because the shower glass didn't do the work. Terrible thing to do while on vacation. This place needs to update their showers INMEDIATELY.
