"Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in an excellent location right by the main square. The breakfast was plentiful and everything was always topped up without having to ask. I was disappointed that the air conditioning had not been turned on (this is what I was told when I asked) this resulted in a very hot room making it uncomfortable. We opened the windows but that of course let the mosquitos in! The tea and coffee etc in the room was not replenished daily and we had to ask for fresh supplies. The hotel was not cheap and air conditioning is essential. Be prepared for some noise from the street below when the shops open their shutters early in the morning and visitors are walking past."

"Room was very clean, well kept. We never used the bar or breakfast. Staff were very attentive and hospitable."

"Pros: Staff was nice and location was good. Cons: Air conditioning either wasn’t on or didn’t work, it was actually blowing HOT air into the room. Bed was uncomfortable. Bathroom was still dirty. Shower was one tiny head that half worked as the rest of the water ran out the bottom. Place is rundown to say the least. Overall, it looks as most hotels are on the rundown side, but if you can spend an extra $50-100 for a nicer place… I would do so. "
