"The stay was okay overall, but there are a few areas that need improvement. The food was decent, but the resort should add more Indian and vegetarian options. The biggest issue was the front desk service—it was very poor. There was no iron or steamer available in Building 11, and despite calling many times, there was no response. When we finally reached them, they said they didn’t have one for us, which was very disappointing."

"We stayed 7 days / 6 nights at AVA Resort Cancun. Overall, the stay was okay, but we would not return. The resort felt too crowded for our preference—you need to enjoy large, busy, high-traffic environments to fully appreciate it. Hotel was very clean and nice/new.
There were several downsides. The pools and some activities like volleyball on the beach closed quite early. Finding a sun lounger was difficult unless you paid extra to upgrade, and even then, reserving a Bali bed required walking...

"We opted to stay in the serenity club for our 2nd stay at Haven Riviera. To us, we don’t think the upgrade was worth it. We had a great few days but didn’t at all find the benefits worth it for us. We also noticed a decline in maintainence of the property from the last time we stayed here in 2024. "

All is well until the hotel decided to host Passover for about 1500 people that were coming in and started shutting down our accommodations. We ended up with three restaurants left on our last two days because they were accommodating the group coming in. They also forgot about their regular guest and were more attentive for the ones coming in, which was very disappointing."
