"Lovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature. The en-suite double room was clean and comfortablebut you are better off relaxing in the bars downstairs, where there was two dining lounges...

"Everything about our stay could not be faulted. Friendly reception on arrival. Told all we needed to know straight away and made to feel very welcome. Separate restaurants as we had our dogs with us and we were the only ones in ours but still were treated very attentively. Good varied menu with several specials on offer. "We stayed here for just one night whilst we were visiting friends in Herne Bay and we will stay again! It was so convenient, there was parking around the back, and the hosts were lovely. We stayed in Room 3 which was massive! It had a little lounge area, a lovely bathroom and the bedroom area was big as well with plenty of room to get ready. There was also a fan in the room which was appreciated! Breakfast was lovely and the choice was really good. We can’t recommend this place enough. "
