"At first our room wasn't great. It was a little dirty and view was blocked by rusty pipe. We complained and they upgraded us for free to a suite with a nice view of the Holllywood sign. The new room still smelled stale and slightly of smike
But the full size suite for nothing extra was very nice. Also we enjoyed the location to everything, the on site restaurant was very good, and overall the staff were very nice."

"I recently stayed at this Hyatt property and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. After checking out, I realized I had accidentally left my gold earrings in the room. I contacted the hotel as soon as I noticed, hoping they would be turned in to the lost and found. However, I was told that nothing had been found.

"The staff were amazing. They were always helpful and I never experienced such a friendly and welcoming group of employees.
The only concern I had with the hotel was the one of the two elevators was out of service throughout my 5-day stay, and the one working elevator died one morning. Several guests were trapped for about an hour until rescued by the LA Fire Department.
I would nevertheless recommend this hotel, with the one caution that you might want to request a room on a lower floor."
