"Plenty of seating at the beach and no issue getting beach towels. In my opinion the restaurants are overpriced, $510 mexican pesos for buffet breakfast per person and paid $90 CAD for 2 simple entrees, burger & fries and a pesto pasta. Wasn't expecting to pay more in Mexico to eat out than in Canada but I guess these are the going rates at hotel restaurants in Cancun. "

"Given that it's a hostel and the price is so low, I wasn't expecting much. But the Mayan Monkey was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming (shout out to Javiera and David), the public areas were lively and engaging, the food and drinks were great, and my bunk was comfortable, cool, and quiet. I was pleasantly surprised, and would definitely stay here again."
