"Coffee is terrible, room was alright. They don’t clean it ever, and we stayed for four nights. Staff was unfriendly. Was not allowed to see the garden. "

"This is a beautiful hotel close to Earls Court tube making it easy to get around London. The decor is beautiful and would consider staying again in the summer as the garden is lovely. We were welcomed warmly on arrival and were delighted to receive a room upgrade snd be able to check in even though we were 4 hours before usual check in time. The room was lovely. Unfortunately we found the bed too hard for us which impacted our nights sleep but I don’t blame the hotel (everyone is different ☺️)....

"Our apartment was wonderful with all the amenities you could need, and the building was safe, well lit, and clean with 24-hour front desk attendant and key cards to get into the building and between sections. It was nice to return to a safe quiet neighborhood at night, though if you're sightseeing it's a bit of a back and forth to get to the sights. The staff was so helpful and took care of everything we could need on our visit. Would definitely stay again."

"Small rooms with low ceilings in a great location. The hotel lobby and staff are excellent and they accommodate me with early check in at 8:30 am! Hard to beat that level of flexibility!"

"Great location. Easy access to restaurants and the Underground. The room was small, especially the shower, but was clean and well maintained. My air conditioning unit worked fine. My ownly concerns were (1) that it would've been convenient if the room had a mini microwave, and (2) the receptionist who checked me in and out off the hotel, while not impolite, was not welcoming. Otherwise a great stay."

"I have been going to London for over 40 years. I know my way around a d the various neighborhoods. This hotel and staff are the best I've had. Great breakfast ordered from a menu to start tha day. The roomsa are spacious with a coffee pod and kettle. Also a frig with mineral water is a nice bonus. Several tube lines within 10 minutes also. Lovely area near Holland Park. Rooms are quiet, no noise from the pub. No elevators though. Planning on coming back in November. Chicago Brian"

"Ideally located for sightseeing holiday. Short walk to museums and South Kensington,and a few minutes walk to the tube for access to most sights. Quite, safe street with Sainsburys next door for all shopping needs. Apartment spotless with good facilities (although cupboards a bit too high for small me). Staff friendly and reception manned for check in. Will be back! "

"I am a regular guest at the Rockwell. It offers everything visitors to the city need. And I love the building features, including the high ceilings and the terrace windows. Staff are very friendly and helpful. And the hotel location is perfect."

"The hotel is quite old and need of renovation! In my room, the bathroom smelled strongly of spoilage because the bathtub drain and sink were clogged, and after bathing, there was dirt residue in the tub due to the clogged drain, which left a strong smell. The sauna is in the men's locker room and is poorly maintained with mess in the locker room and dirty toilets. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very varied."

"The location is excellent, the staff are great, and the room (a studio) was surprisingly spacious. There is no housekeeping other than emptying the bin (which is fine, just noting it). The lighting was terrible. I had to use my phone flashlight to see anything in the kitchen or in the wardrobes after dusk. Other than that, it is excellent value in an area with some very expensive hotels and small rooms. "

"Room/suite was excellent for us with our 20 month old. The staff were all lovely and the restaurant was excellent. We ordered from the partnered Italian in the evening and ate it in the hotel restaurant, which made dinner with our toddler so much easier."
