"This was a historic stay. We loved the tiny details and felt like we had stepped back in time to a Jane Austen novel. Highly recommend for people who love old mansions. I taught my daughters about encyclopaedias - the google of yore - and we also loved watching the spirit of Tasmania berth. "

"Great location with beach and restaurants only steps away. The staff was very helpful and wonderful. The lobby is welcoming but the hotel rooms could use some updating. Be mindful that some of the rooms ( not bungalows) require uphill walking and steps. Little too pricey but that's Bora Bora."

"Beautiful property especially over water bungalows. The staff were very attentive, helpful, friendly and gracious. Everyone from the breakfast staff to the dinner staff were so nice. The water sports team was so nice, one gentleman who competes in the outrigger team accompanied me on my 1st outrigger ride to show me the ropes. "The room was great. We had the one bedroom suite, ocean front. The front desk staff were so friendly and went over and above to be helpful. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The breakfast (which we prepaid) was really good. They made omelets as well as having a very wide selection of other items - well worth the cost. Every staff member that we had conversation with were so very nice, friendly and helpful."
