Top Caribbean Hotel Reviews

Hotel El Convento

Hotel El Convento

8/10 Good
"We had read the rooms would be small, as the hotel is hundreds of years old, but the bathroom was closet size. For the price we expected attention to detail, but the tile floor in the shower was stained and an actual chunk of feces was stuck in a corner. Never encountered that before anywhere. Being an old hotel one could expect to find limited elevator space, but we became annoyed with standing around waited for the singular, extremely slow elevator in this property, and took the stairs to the 5th floor a time or two. Food and service was good, though served in an outdoor setting subjected us to the heat and humidity."
