"The resort itself and the beach are great. However, the customer service is only 2 out of 5. The staff needs to be more friendly and smile more. There are limited restaurant reservations, and we couldn’t even get to all the restaurants because we couldn’t find a reservation. They don’t even allow people to enter a restaurant without a reservation, even if it’s empty. Food at the buffet is below mid. Same food is repeated everyday with very low selection. "Normally don’t stay at large resorts but this one was beautiful. Just a warning you will do a lot of walking and waking up early to grab seats. The food was just okay It was very pricey if your used to going to an all inclusive be prepared to spend an additional 2 grand on food."

"Facilities are fantastic. Beautiful views, plenty of places to get a drink, and plenty of places to swim and get some sun. Staff is absolutely horrible and not friendly at all. Room service arrive 30 minutes late one night, and never even showed up the next night. Staff is mostly rude and not welcoming at all. They will make you feel like you are inconveniencing them by asking them to do their jobs. "

"We recently stayed at Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana and while the resort itself is nice, our experience with the “special breakfast” presentation was extremely disappointing. We were invited the day before to attend what was described as a special breakfast with a 60-minute presentation.
