"Great RIU hotel! More than expected. Restaurants, grills, bars and ice cream shops yummy. Kids areas amazing! Tuesday closed for maintenance. Plan excursions on that day. Steakhouse requires two days in advance of reservation. All others walk ins."

"This place is a little slice of heaven. Me and my husband absolutely fell in love with this place. From the amazing staff to the incredible food this place is the way to go. It’s more relaxed, family oriented. Perfect place to go and enjoy the beach in peace. The beach is just a very small walk from your room. We are already planning another visit in the future. We didn’t know what to expect our first time in Costa Rica but this place has got you covered. I’ll give Freddy’s Experiences a good...

"Thank you very much to all the staff! Great service!! I’d like to mention especially Andreina, from the Pimento Restaurant and all staff there! Awesome service!!!"

"Wow, wow, wow! Amazing staff, great food, beautiful grounds. Diana was so helpful and accommodating."

"The property and staff were nice..A few take aways, 1) 3pm Check-in means 3pm no flexilbilty on that,, 2) After we checked-in the two specialty restaraunts were already booked up. for our entire stay..(our stay was from Mon_Fri.)...Bummer. 3)The resort sits on the side of a mountain, so the pool and beach are a distance..so you need to be in decent shape for the hike back.."

"Absolutely terrific stay !! Truly amazing experience. Rooms are not luxury style but rather charming (bit dated). However loved the spa, the staff, the facilities, food options and so much more !! Looking forward to returning someday."

"Nice hotel, not very big. Food was ok but my friend got food poisoning at the hibachi."
