The rooftop common area was a nice touch if you would feel crowded in the room, but the overall space felt very homey. You can also refill your own water bottle. The hotel staff were courteous to save our large luggage at their storage until we returned for the second stay. The staff at the reception and the restaurants were helpful and courteous. "We used this hotel as our 'base' as we visited other areas of northern Vietnam, they checked us in so we didnt have to go through it all again everytime we came back, they remembered us and always was friendly. They asked where we were off next and if it was bright and early in the morning, they would have a snall breakfast to takeaway for us! The room was clean and big enough to room around."

"I enjoyed my stay even though it was only for a night. I got the room on the 2nd floor, which had a little balcony and kitchen. I was quite amazed at how spacious the room was given that the building looked small from the outside. Room was clean and water pressure is good. Bed is firm - I had a good sleep. Well located with cafes within 5 walking distance. Old quarters is an easy 15-20 min walk away. I would stay here again if I return to Hanoi!"
