"Quaint hotel in beautiful village. Family run business giving a delightful caring welcome. Nothing is too mich trouble. There is a small car park which is free to use, and hotel is situated in quiet street and not difficult to find. Comfy bed and thoughtful facilities in rooms. Guests are provided with a fridge and microwave and complimentary breakfast of orange juice yoghurt cereal and toast which you make at your own convenience in your room. "We only had a stop over, we stayed in the part that I guess was modern a few years ago, it could do with a refresh now and it's become dated. It needs a bit of money spent on it."

"Stayed here many times but disappointed the room (carpet) didn't look clean, bathroom, this is only room with a bath and this will be the third time I've had this room and the bath taps don't work you can only use the shower. Previously I've had water in the room but not this time. Didn't look like the tea, coffee, etc. had been topped up"

"This is a nice business style hotel on the outskirts of Peterborough. It is very close to the A1 which was handy as we arrived late. It also has air conditioning which was very nice in the heat. Good parking though you do pay extra for this. Room service was good and staff were very nice. I would stay again."

"Located in Glaston, we used the old pheasant for an overnight base whilst travelling through. Family suite was generous in space, clean and comfortable. Kids had private sleeping space. We enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant and was looked after by the front of house team who were excellent. We stayed for breakfast and enjoyed both a continental and cooked breakfast. Food was value for money and service was fantastic throughout the visit. Would stay again. Value for money."

"The staff were great and helpful, Breafast was very good, and our evening meal exelent bar was well staffed in the evening and well stocked , unfortunately the cleanliness of our room was not good , especially the shower, which had black mould on the tiles and shower door was in need of some maintenance, the toilet was not clean behind seat and in the hinges of seat and lid was not clean , and the sink has a large crack in it ."
