"It was excellent! We’ve been going to Hard Rock for over 12 years, but this year decided to change. We wanted something smaller and quieter. If you are looking for a party resort, this is not for you. This is where luxury meets relaxation. The service was excellent, staff worked hard to tractor out the seaweed from the beach. The rooms were cleaned daily (sometimes they came twice in one day to offer cleaning again!) rooms maintained perfectly. We booked a swim up room and it was the best decision. No matter what building your room is in it’s a perfect walking distance to the beach, the main building, main pool and the restaurants. One thing I LOVED about this resort, is there is NO timeshare or membership. Every vacation taken in the past has ruined our day and sometimes several days because of the constant insistence of them trying to get us to buy a membership.
My ONLY negative comment is the quality of the food. The variety of the food is great, but the food was hit or miss. I’ve had much better food at different resorts. I also wish there was a buffet option for lunch instead of breakfast only. The room service for breakfast was excellent, but the room service for lunch was not edible, it was honestly horrible. Our favorite restaurant was the grill. Oregano was hit or miss.
One recommendation I’d make is the beverage service on the beach, I wish they’d come by more frequently, but honestly the bar is so close to the beach we didn’t mind getting up and walking over.
