Beautiful hotel and right there on the beach. I went for a quick get away with my mom and we both loved it, the balcony had a beautiful view of the beach, we were half a block from the quinta avenida and had beach beds included. Galia and Renato are both lovely. To be honest the only thing we didn't love was the bar tender's attitude when we asked him to lower the music level (at 9 AM on a Monday) and his food and driniks in general (he literally was listening to the radio but blasting it and said if he lowered the music, it was going to be empty, except we were the only clients and once others came most were elderly Americans, I was literally the only person under 40, but once we raised the concern with higher management the volume and quality improved. We only had food there once and it wasn't very good, but it is so close to La Quinta Avenida it doesn't really matter. Also a shout out to Jose, both me and my mom had a massage by him and my mom reckons he healed her from her chronic knee pain! As a last advice it would be nice if rooms had some sort of sofa to sit in as the bed is literally the only furniture in the room but overall we think it is amazing value for money and a great hotel!

We had a wonderful time at Capital O Mimi Del Mar. The new management are working tirelessly (and I do mean tirelessly) to improve the facilities. The staff were attentive and accommodating. The hotel is right on the beach with chairs ready for you to relax and spend the day watching the pelicans dive for their lunch.

+++ Por ser económico, dada su ubicación. Justo en la playa con vista, frente a la Avenida La Quinta, tranquilo, con una linda piscina y acceso directo a la playa. La habitación estaba limpia y tenía un diseño muy bonito. Excelente si quieres centrar tu estancia en el PDC en el extremo ADO/Ferry de la Avenida La Quinta. - - - La única entrada del hotel está justo en la playa, lo que significa que tienes que caminar por la arena para entrar y salir. (Una molestia si usas maletas con ruedas o zapatos que no sean de playa). Además, dificulta encontrar la entrada. La cama king era más parecida a una matrimonial mexicana o una individual estadounidense. La habitación tenía cerradura con llave y no tenía pestillo ni cadena de seguridad, y las puertas solo se podían abrir sin cita previa. Mala seguridad. A diferencia de otros hoteles, no ofrecen agua potable ni recargas, por lo que debes comprarlas en el bar o en un OXXO. Aunque dicen que no hay estacionamiento, parece que hay varios disponibles donde la Calle 4 desemboca en el mar.

Vaatimaton, mutta ihana hotelli loistavalla sijainnilla. Oma pieni uima-allas ja suora yhteys hotellin ”omaan” rantaan ja oikeus rantatuoleihin. Ystävällinen ja rento palvelu. Ihan 5th avenuen kupeessa mutta yöllä hiljainen. Aamupäivällä rannalla soi musiikki, vaihtelevasti (latinosta kasari klassikoihin) mutta ei häiritsevästi (joko omalla hotellilla tai naapurista, mutta eivät soita musiikkia saman aikaisesti, jolloin ei tule häiritsevää kakofoniaa.) Huoneet vähän aikaa nähneet, mutta siistit. Oma jääkaappi, kahvinkeitin ja muutama astia. Lämmintä vettä tuli, mutta suihku vaatimaton, joka ei haitannut meitä. Heillä oli myös loistava hierontapalvelu rannalla, hyvät otteet ja tekniikat, ei mitään sivelyä😉Ilta/Yöaikaan heillä oli päivystäjä, joka varmisti että hotellille ei eksy vieraita. Tunsin oloni turvalliseksi. Hinta-laatusuhteeltaan loistava, tulisin takaisin.

Ça pourrait être super, pas cher, donnant sur ma plage avec piscine, mais... Un manque d'entretien pour la salle de bain (fuites, robinet mal fixé, douche qui inonde la SDB),ampoules qui ne fonctionnent pas. Pas de petit déjeuner.

Upon arrival, the front desk, staff seemed really annoyed that we did not speak Spanish. The gentleman was very rude and rolled his eyes in annoyance,at his coworker we asked for room with an ocean view, instead, even though the hotel had several unoccupied rooms, they brought us to the back in a dark hallway and put us in a room that had windows overlooking garbage in the backyard, walked into the room. The room looked very rundown and not very clean. After travelling 6000 kilometers. and several thousand dollars we were not willing to accept the room so we rejected it and ended up staying at the Playa Palms hotel even though we did not have a reservation. They were very pleasant to deal with and very receptive and happy to help us out. even gave us free continental breakfast.

The hotel is very nice, charming, and a great value for the price. It’s in the perfect location right by the beach and just steps away from 5th Avenue. We loved walking along the beach and especially enjoyed walking 5th Avenue at night. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile and even helping with our suitcases. Just a small note: it can be a little tricky to find at first since it’s right on the beach and there’s no direct parking. We had to park in a nearby lot and carry our bags down. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back.

I checked in and 1st i had to pay a cleaning fee for each day ahead of time but unless you hand over your key they can't get in supposedly. Which is a bit uncomfortable. Also the bar only accepts cash while ever other place on the beach accepts cards. I also had money taken from my safe and shown that there was extra keys to my safe (when they were trying to prove the opposite). The wifi would go in and out regularly at night. Could happen during the day too but didn't hang out in my room. I won't be back to this hotel again.

El hotel está demasiado sucio con olor en los cuartos horrible sábanas sucias las camas llenas de bichos estaba un señor que trabaja en el hotel de los más imprudente en general en mi opinión deberían sancionar ese hotel o cerrarlo es demasiado lo que le falta de limpieza y mantenimiento los climas no enfriaban En general deprimente y sucio el personal muuuy mal

The access to the hotel is only through the beach and we had to walk on the sand which heavy suitcases. Thisn is quite unusual and difficil to accept, above all for elderly people. Also after 6PM, the lobby office is close, and luckily we could find the guard/concierge which would help me solving a problem (a electric plug adaptator).

The room was very run down, had ants, and the base from the music was incredibly loud. It was so noisy that we left 3 hours after we checked in and went to another hotel. We were given a wrong key to start with and told to keep our wet towels rather than get new ones. All in all, not a great experience.

J’ai apprécié l’emplacement, près de la 5e av, des restos et directement sur la plage. Par contre, la chambre est très rudimentaire, la cuisinette était sale à notre arrivée et n’a jamais été lavé de la semaine. Seul la toilette et le plancher ont été lavés. Le personnel est gentil.

It was an absolute terrible experience the room was dirty we had dead roaches by the mini fridge and in the bathroom. Towels and linens were dirty. The hotel looks absolutely nothing like the pictures. The entrance is only through the beach side and the area does not look safe at night.

I feel bad for writing this because the staff that we interacted with were nice and friendly. Unfortunately, the place was not as we expected. First of all, the only entrance is through the beach. You have to walk in sand for a little to get inside. No big deal. The room looked different from the pictures. The walls and the floor looked dirty. There was a heavily stained and disgusting plastic table in our kitchenette. No kitchen sink or counters. The fridge wasn't even plugged in when we arrived. The areas in the bathroom were separated with these cement half walls that really didn't feel clean. There was no soap dish, so we used the ashtray instead. No shampoo either. Overall, the property seems old and not clean. Not for the faint of the heart. The location is pretty good, but I wouldn't go back.
