Overall the stay was good. Only slight downfall was the difficulty in getting chairs by the pool at the ocean and making reservations for certain dinner spots.

There is a teens club for people over the age of 12 and a kids club for younger kids aged 5-12 years old and the pools were great the staff hotel had lots of activities to do in the water

We had a lovely stay overall. The food was great and there were plenty of amenities to enjoy. The ice cream shop and coffee shop were definitely highlights — both were excellent and something we looked forward to every day. That said, the rooms did not meet our expectations. The bed was making broken, creaking noises, and the fan didn’t feel safe to turn on. The bathroom was quite old, and the shower area was very slippery, which made it unsafe, especially with kids. With some updates to the rooms, this place could be amazing, but for now it was a mix of great common areas and disappointing accommodations

Families with young children would definitely love this hotel for the pool and park area. We were there during March Break so it was very busy. We had to sit on our towels on the beach on our first day as there was no available chairs. Other people were in the same situation. The pool at the beach was great especially because they did not play music at this pool. Overall, the restaurants were good and we enjoyed the food. I did not like that you have to line up early in the morning to book one of the hotels. Two other restaurants coudl be booked via the app. I could not get the app to work on my phone but my husband managed to get the app working. Also, we usually had to wait for a table at the restaurant near the beach. There are some rocky areas at the beach but you can still get in the ocean and swim. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Overall, we were happy with our stay but the hotel and staff could make some simple changes to offer better service to its guests.

I was expecting a better experience but I found the food to just be okay and the service was not to par to what other hotels offer. The buffet coffee was absolutely awful. Some room for improvement for sure. Hotel lobby was gorgeous.

The room was beautiful and spacious. Hot tub only had Luke warm water coming out. Large tub in first floor bathroom was a bit dirty. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Hello, I wanted to take a moment to provide feedback regarding my recent stay at your resort. My family and I have been traveling to Cancun and Playa del Carmen for over 25 years, and this was our first time staying at your property. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations due to several issues during our visit. To begin with, we reported the lack of hot water in our room on three separate occasions, and the issue was never resolved during our stay. This was extremely disappointing. Additionally, one evening, two couples traveling with us experienced a serious issue accessing their room in the El Beso section. They contacted me for assistance, and I attempted to reach the front desk multiple times, but no one answered the phone. As a result, they were forced to walk all the way to the front desk late at night to resolve the issue, which is unacceptable for a resort of this standard. We were also disappointed with the dining experience. The food at both the steakhouse and the Italian restaurant did not meet expectations, and the liquor selection was very limited. Needless to say, all six of us in our group were very disappointed. It is unfortunate that what should have been a memorable and enjoyable trip turned into a frustrating experience. Based on this visit, we will not be returning or recommending this resort to others.

Everything excellent excellent special food! The room atmosphere good but the wall is very moody When they open the door, they smelled bad focussing it fix it the wall, please thank you and appreciate it outside of a reason to have some people the do it massage excellent and fair price👍

The room was always very clean and smelled very good. Pools were cleaned, but many people hold their seats with towels, so get out there early, or you will have no seats. Mainly in building 1 and the adult pool. On the last day, they got strict and started removing people's stuff from chairs that were used for 1/2 hour or more.

My husband and I stayed from March 15-20th. We were greeted by Manuel upon check in and helped us to upgrade to El Beso. Our luggage was stored as we arrived before lunch and check in was at 3pm (which we anticipated). He also helped us make a dinner reservation for that evening. We were able to relax by the pool and have lunch while we waited for our room to be ready. Once we got to our room, it was very clean and quite spacious. Our luggage was delivered very quickly with a smile. Our dinner reservation was booked for later in the evening, so we ordered room service on the app. It was easy to order and the food came a lot faster than we expected. We ate at La Locanda (shoutout to servers Mario and Jose for great service!) that night and it was delicious. We also ate dinner at Blue Moon, Margarita (shout out to Michael for great service) and the Steak House (shoutout to Wilbert for great service!) and were happy with all of our meals. The buffet at breakfast and lunch were great options. We always found something we enjoyed. With our El Beso upgrade, we were able to have breakfast at Margarita and enjoyed that a couple of mornings. We ate lunches at Pez Vela (beach restaurant), La Petite Creperie and El Beso Snack and enjoyed all of our meals. We spent most of our days poolside. Shoutout to Lizbeth for keeping our drinks full and to William and Andres on the entertainment team for all the fun and for having games we could play from our chairs! An overall great time!!

From the Location to the commons areas this is a 5star hotel, staff, food, amenities, cleanliness, restaurants, the beach, kids water park…. Everything was amazing fabulous and I can continue for 2 pages about how everything is perfect in this resort…Thank you All the staff and people that contributed to make this vacations into memorable time. We will be back and will share our experience we all our families and friends.

This resort is very modern and Americanized, didn’t feel authentic Mexican. Beautifully designed with really great food. The buffet was amazing always had something new to discover. Did not like the wait times to get into the buffet or the order coffee from there little on site coffee shop. It was impossible to just go somewhere and help yourself to morning coffee. You had to wait to be sat then wait for the waiter to come over to your table (at the buffet) the train brings you around which helps since the resort is so big: the beach side pool is very sleek. Staff friendly. The gym is beautiful and nice tennis courts. Nightly live musicians were talented. I loved the smell in the lobby.

This resort was clean, safe, quiet and easy to find your way around which was nice traveling with kids. There were a few pools to pick from and we were always able to find a chair on the deck. For people who complained about the beach, yes it is small but it was well kept by the staff and my kids enjoyed it. My only complaint was there could have been more staff working in the restaurants as there was often long wait times for things. The buffet staff were incredibly busy and constantly moving and as such we made if halfway through breakfast without water or coffee. This was not a fault to the staff as they were doing the best they can, this also lead to long wait times for food/service at the restaurants as well. We would definitely come back.

This resort was great for kids, we had 3 kids in our group, 6-7-9 and they got bored of the water park pretty quick, it is geared toward young children. Food was good, beachside pool was great, the ocean is pretty rocky to swim in. Drink and service was great. I would recommend it.

Overall, Ocean Riviera Paradise is a beautiful resort with strong amenities. The beach, pools, and restaurants were enjoyable, and my son had an amazing time, he made friends and truly enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, there were some major inconsistencies in service. Our original room was next to active construction, and the paint smell was overwhelming. After we raised the concern, we were moved to a one-bedroom suite in the Privilege section, which was much better. However, despite being placed in that section, we were not given access to Privilege amenities because we had green wristbands instead of black. This caused repeated issues, we were denied entry to certain restaurants, could not access services in that area, and were even turned away when trying to get towels at the Privilege pool. What was most concerning was that staff repeatedly pointed out that we “booked through Expedia,” and it felt like that came with a lower level of service. The overall experience made us feel singled out and unwelcome at times. As a parent, it was especially disappointing to have my child notice and question why we were being treated differently. The resort has great potential, but better coordination and consistent guest service are needed.
