"My wife and I have been to a lot of all inclusive but this was a first for the Excellence Collection. The resort is beautiful and the employees are great. We typically go to bed early on vacations from being out in the sun all day but we managed to enjoy the night entertainment which we found really fun. The only thing that we found just sub par was the food in some of the places. The Spice restaurant wasn’t great and the buffet wasn’t either, but we always find something we enjoy, here it was basically the omlette that we liked. For Spice they have the hibachi that you have to make a reservation for. We weren’t able to get a reservation until 9:45pm on Friday which is way too late for us, this isn’t really a complaint on that but more just unfortunate. The oregano restaurant was really good and so was the steak house. One other thing that this place doesn’t have that pretty much all other resorts that we’ve been to is a place that is serving snacks/lunch around the pool where you could just walk up and order food. Here you have to order from the waiter which is fine, but it takes about 1/2hr-45 minutes. Other than that we liked this place and didn’t want to leave. I do want to give a shot out to the whole staff who were great, but these people in particular made our stay fantastic. Diaz the bartender at the Prelude Bar. Kelvin the pool server from the Prelude Bar. Misael Joy Boy is Back These guys were awesome and I would give them a 10 out 5 star if I could!"

"Everything was a disaster, rooms were not cleaned no water pressure could not take a shower food was horrible everyone in my family got sick for days with a stomach virus I travel a lot but Punta Cana was not a place to go for vacation. I strongly recommend it!!!"

"I wouldn’t recommend anybody to come to this resort. The service is not the best also the food. Pools are not the cleanest if you traveling with kids. The beach is beautiful but it’s self service not even once from staff comes to the beach ask you for drinks compared to different resorts. "

"It was excellent! We’ve been going to Hard Rock for over 12 years, but this year decided to change. We wanted something smaller and quieter. If you are looking for a party resort, this is not for you. This is where luxury meets relaxation. The service was excellent, staff worked hard to tractor out the seaweed from the beach. The rooms were cleaned daily (sometimes they came twice in one day to offer cleaning again!) rooms maintained perfectly. We booked a swim up room and it was the best decision. No matter what building your room is in it’s a perfect walking distance to the beach, the main building, main pool and the restaurants. One thing I LOVED about this resort, is there is NO timeshare or membership. Every vacation taken in the past has ruined our day and sometimes several days because of the constant insistence of them trying to get us to buy a membership. My ONLY negative comment is the quality of the food. The variety of the food is great, but the food was hit or miss. I’ve had much better food at different resorts. I also wish there was a buffet option for lunch instead of breakfast only. The room service for breakfast was excellent, but the room service for lunch was not edible, it was honestly horrible. Our favorite restaurant was the grill. Oregano was hit or miss. One recommendation I’d make is the beverage service on the beach, I wish they’d come by more frequently, but honestly the bar is so close to the beach we didn’t mind getting up and walking over. "
