"My first time staying here and will stay again the next time. My twin bedroom and bathroom are very clean for a friendly budget hotel. Staffs are nice and spoke perfect English. Location was excellent with a lot restaurants nearby and walkable to all shopping mall. They offered free coffee, tea, and orange juice in the morning and also free toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion and etc. at the lobby. "

"I love hotel j-mex. The worst part is to get down the stairs to the property if you have big luggage etc. everything else is perfect. This is a love hotel so you will see people using it for that purpose, and cigarette smell if that bothers you. If not, J-Mex is always my go to when I stay in Japan. The room is huge. "This was the pinnacle of hotel rooms for my kids who adore Godzilla. We stayed on the 30th floor which has a number of stills from the making of the movies. The rooms are decorated wonderfully. It is a smaller room (as you'd expect in the middle of Shinjuku). The staff were quite helpful and they call your attention to Godzilla-related things happening elsewhere."

"Room was perfect size. TV, Bluetooth in room and bathroom, ‘camping’ style amenities. Big bathtub in a good sized wet/shower room. Separate toilet. Breakfast delivered by preferable time every morning with vegan and gluten free options. Snacks, ice cream, drinks and soup in the lobby. Staff was super nice and they Gave us a gift when we left. Walking distance to main Shinjuku station and all the shopping. Would stay again."
