"We enjoy The Moxy as a modern chain that has some fun quirky elements. The staff who check you in, serve you drinks and help with breakfast. The place is vibrant and entertaining and we slept well in the good size room, straight forward amenities and a small but great bathroom and good shower. "The location of the property is fantastic. The biggest disappointment was we stayed over a very hot weekend and there was no installed air-conditioning therefore a Mobile Aircon unit was brought to the room but it didn’t work and the room was absolutely sweltering all weekend. We couldn’t sleep during the heat and it spoilt our stay."

"My mother and I stayed in a room with two queen beds. Very clean, beds were so comfortable, we both had a tremendous night sleep. The air con was a little slow but worked all the same. The staff on both days we're helpful, very polite and kind. The breakfast was hot and fresh and staff were responsive to our needs as well as the needs of others with clearing plates, getting extra bread, to go cups etc. Only criticism i can make is the bar didn't take cash and we don't really use card. "Lovely room, downside no air con, but there was a fan and could leave the balcony doors open. Good breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful. Location within easy reach of town and not far from the station. Access to the spa. Would definitely stay again."

"Great location. The room was nice, if a little warm, the A/C wasn’t very powerful and our fridge didn’t work. However the room was very clean and had a nice feel to it. The hotel in general had quirky decor which was interesting to look at. The breakfast was ok, but we were disappointed there wasn’t any cereal, pastries and other help yourself items. The staff very very friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay."
