"Definitely did not feel like a 5 star hotel as listed… don’t even include still bottled water etc. Front desk staff not very friendly. Room was clean but definitely feel like they skimped on some of the amenities. Room was listed to have record player and didn’t, only received after calling and asking. Rooftop bar was closed for a private event so I didn’t even get to check that out. Vip drink ticket was only given to me after I asked. "

"Awesome 3 night stay in early May in a nicely decorated and refurbished over water bungalow. Quiet and tranquil. Spectacular views from all the bungalows and around the property. Excellent service. A hands on general manager who personally greets each guest and who was always available for questions and comments. As an avid paddle boarder I enjoyed use of the boards provided for guests. The bungalows sit in waist deep water perfect for swimming, walking, or watching the Eagle Rays swim by."

"We spent a week in St Regis for our honeymoon and we both agreed that this has been the best trip of our lives. We did the overwater deluxe bungalow and it was the most incredible room I have been in. The glass cut outs in the floor and just how big these villas are made it feel like our own private oasis. "Smaller resort, which was actually nice b/c it is more relaxing. Gorgeous pool area. We stayed in an over-water bungalow, which was spacious and lovely. The only complaint I would say is it would have been nice to have a chair. Like just a regular chair to sit in. There wasn't one in the room or on the deck (only lounge chairs). Got a free bottle of sparkling wine delivered to our room, which was a nice surprise. Food was outrageously expensive, which I expected, but what I did not expect is...

"My room went out of electricity and AC during the second night. I had to get dressed in the dark in the morning because no one that could fix it was on staff till 8am. The issue was fixed by the time I got back to my room at 5:30pm."

"Such a welcoming staff. Property was very clean and we were super satisfied with our King Room third floor ocean view! Wow! My only comment would be limited breakfast buffet and they need a real coffee machine. Other wise the a la carte menu was extensive and very high quality."

"This was a perfect stay for our time in Sydney. Prior to our cruise, it is very essentially located. Everything is very walkable. If you do need to go outside of the central Sydney area, then there are trains and buses and ubers. But honestly, we'd walked most of the area. You could walk to circular quay into the rocks and other areas from the hotel. Everything is so very close and we did use a ferry and an uber to get to and from the torongo zoo. Go by Uber in comeback by ferry. It will drop...

"Nicest OWB we have stayed in the French Polynesia! Staff was excellent and quite beautiful location. Only thing we would have changed a little was some additional lunch and dinner options at the restaurant. Food was excellent, breakfast included, just was looking for salads and more simple things. Overall we would highly recommend Le Tikehau! "

"The staff are wonderful and friendly, the buffet food is excellent and the kids loved the pasta bar. The chefs were accommodating and the activities are fun. The pool is clean, no slides, but still nice to be in. We’d go back in a heartbeat."
