"Resort beautiful, swim up room so beautiful. Friendly staff. Pretty easy check in. Had a room mix up but got it figured out. We enjoyed the spa and loved the beach. Had a wonderful stay. Only negative would be food. It was just ok. Overall excellent experience. "

"Favorite resort in Punta Cana. Short drive there, great food, well maintained. Been to 6 other resorts and Joia is the best for us. Average age is probably 50, but we like that. No stupid stuff by the pool ruining the vibe, people have respect for other travelers. Nice change from other less laidback resorts. Not for the 21-35 crowd. "

"The resort was clean and kept immaculate by very hard working staff. Our Butler Richard made our stay so enjoyable. He went above and beyond, he surprised us by decorating our room for our Anniversary, making all our reservations and just checking on us to make sure our stay great!! Our house cleaner Carina, always made fancy birds, hearts for us out of towels and fresh flowers and our room was always clean.
