The room decor is newer and quite lovely. We appreciated the comfortable chairs on our deck that faced the water and the Newport bridge. The outdoor dining space is much improved, as well."

"My room was really small. The room needed to be upgrade. I had made reservations for king bed. They only had a queen for me. It was over 1,000 for 2 nights. Was disappointed with my room. The locate was perfect."

"We booked for a weekend in June well in advance but they told us because we had booked through a third party site we didn’t get the room we expected but was assigned a very small ada accessible room. No closets and we had to request a mini fridge for the room. Our view was a brick wall. Given it was over $750 a night it was a very disappointing experience."

"The service was not very good, but it was early in the season so maybe they haven’t been trained well. I ordered a simple breakfast sandwich and it took 30 minutes. Also, we were assigned a room on the fourth floor and there is no elevator. The last flight of stairs was very steep."

"Good location and not far from downtown Newport. We appreciated the free shuttle that went between the hotel and downtown. The hotel was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, the parking is free, and there is a nice patio and bonfire area. We would definitely stay there again!"

"The tv didn’t work. The phone didn’t have buttons. Housekeeping never came. Our room was ll the way on the other side of the hotel and they had nothing to carry the luggage on."

"Very expensive for an outdated, no amenities and very limited breakfast bar with expired milk. Very good location and friendly staff. Room was not very clean. Had a broken tile on the bathroom floor. The elastic in the sheets was worn from being old and wouldn’t stay on the king-size bed. Not sure I would go back to this hotel."

"The room we got had no windows and had a wall of glass with floor to ceiling drapes and was literally facing the elevators. Never ever had that in my hotel experiences. And I’m a Gold Bonvoy member. I mean what the hell? I room not facing the water is one thing, a window facing the elevators is next level wrong."
