"Poolside service excellent , from towel service, snacks & drinks. Bartenders quickly remembered our names & knew our favorite drinks. Capi, Jesus , Eduardo& Moy greeted us always with a smile & went beyond our expectations. Erica greeted us for breakfast always with a smaile. Housekeeping staff also were very friendly. Great food & variety & many activities from dancing to lottery! We will be back & will highly recommend Hyatt Vivid. Thank you all making this memorable vacation. Maria & Gama"

"The room service is very poor. The room was cleaned only once in our 4 day stay. We called at the reception 2 days to get the dustbins cleaned and even I cleaned the dustbin myself one day. Also, there was a fight in a room on the same floor and there was foul smell of blood and waste everywhere for 2 days. No cleaning was done. Another thing, a glass broke in the room and i called reception to send someone to clean it, it took us 3 calls and 2 hours, when finally someone came to clean the floor...

"We stayed at GR Solaris Cancun with our 3-year-old and had a great time overall. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially when we requested a lower floor room. The pools and beach were clean and perfect for families. Food was decent but could use more variety, especially for longer stays. The entertainment team was fun and kept kids engaged. Although, Baby Park needs an upgrade for its gates most toddlers can easily escape the area. Also, they could add more games for the kids...

"Very good internet, location, pools, beach, loungers, rooms and beds. This is a time share and there’s a hard push on listening to the time share pitch which we didn’t love. They had bingo at 3:00p at the pool, which was fun and interactive. The rooms were large! We booked the grand suite and there was plenty of room for three people. We each had our own bed and sleeping area. Quiet."

The manager from Caribe Tours Riviera Maya Cancún sold me six activities, with an average cost of around $150 each. While I really enjoyed some of them, the last two were very disappointing. For the first one, I was placed in a tour that was only conducted in Spanish, even though I do not speak the language. I raised this issue, but nothing was done to resolve...

"We had to move after 2 nights b/c they were doing construction outside our door. The 1st night in the 2nd place a woman let herself into our room with the key, saying she booked it through airbnb. She’s been given the wrong info. 2 days later we couldn’t use the balcony b/c they were power washing right above it. Our stovetop has electrocuted me multiple times even though I was very careful after the 1st time. Our 5th night the microwave lit on fire. 2 security guys came to to try to find out...
