I stayed at the El Beso and they really took care of us. We got a room upgrade, tshirts, and free champagne. They noticed my suitcase was broken and offered to give me a new one for free. I went very taken care of and able to relax. Property is huge and beautiful. There was a tram to take you around which was nice. Only thing is they have a few kinks to sort out. We waited over an hour and a half for the Mexican restaurant when we could see parties leaving and tables not being bussed and resat. Waited almost 2 hours to make an in person reservation at the hibachi restaurant. Only about 20 people were ahead of us in line so not sure why it took that long. Other than logistical stuff like that, this place was absolutely amazing, I would definitely return

6/10 This resort was advertised as an all inclusive Adult only resort and that is far from the truth. In reality you are a getting an Adults only dormitory, and adults only pool and swim up bar and 1 adults only restaurant. The rest of the resort is family friendly The Night Life on the resort is also very lacking, after 6 pm almost every bar closes except for the Lobby bar a piano bar and a sports bar. ALL of these bars close at 12. So if you are going to drink and have a good night life experience, try going of the resort. The sports bar turns into a make shift club later in the night but it honestly isnt that entertaining. The Dj played mediocre music and I had to slip him a 20 for him to play more modern dancing music Lastly, The beach. The beach is not really that great. Its pretty small and was covered with seaweed, which to be fair is not the resorts fault. When it gave to getting in the ocean, the beach was extremely rocky. Im not talking pebbles and shells, im talking about sharp rocks that you bump into and trip over in the ocean. I recommended water shoes but that still only gets you so far. I made multiple trips into the ocean to carry my friends out because i was the only one with water shoes The rest of the hotel was pretty mediocre. The Buffet was okay. The drinks were good. And the rooms were fairly clean The one thing that really shined was the staff. A lot of the staff would recognize me, remember my orders or give me recommendations on what to do or try

My wife and I are currently finishing up an amazing stay at Ocean Riviera Paradise – El Beso in Playa del Carmen, and we truly cannot say enough good things about this resort. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful, extremely well maintained, and the adults-only El Beso section offers a great balance of relaxation while still having plenty to do. The food throughout the resort has been excellent with a wide variety of restaurants, and every meal we’ve had has been fresh and enjoyable. The service here is really what makes the experience stand out. Every staff member we’ve interacted with has been friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. There has been entertainment and activities every night, so we’ve always had something fun to do. One moment that really stood out during our stay was when our flight back to New York was cancelled due to bad weather. The guest services team immediately stepped in and helped accommodate our extended stay quickly and professionally, which took a lot of stress off our shoulders. A huge thank you to the guest services staff, especially Fernando and management team for going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Five stars from both my wife and me. We are leaving tomorrow morning, but we already know we will absolutely be coming back and would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen.

This resort is very clean. The staff were great and for an all inclusive the food and drinks were very good. You must go visit Franklin at the margarita bar. He makes the best margaritas! The only thing that makes not not give 5 stars for this resort is the beach. It is small and rocky but it would not stop me from going back. We had a wonderful time.

This resort is amazing!! Food is excellent, staff is very accommodating, hotel is very clean, safe and friendly. I cannot wait to return here again.

Where do I start?! I will never return to this resort. Adults only is what’s advertised but kids everywhere. The food, mediocre at best. Lights on the balcony of the room with a hot tub outside didn’t even work. Maintenance said they can’t come out. Drinks, bad. Liquor? Cheap. I could go on and on. I personally would never stay here again. EVERRR

THIS HOTEL IS NOT ALL INCLUSIVE AS ADVERTISED. Nothing works, the staff is extremely rude. I booked a rooftop and they gave me a room that neither of the jacuzzis worked. So after complaining they finally switched to another room and neither one of those jacuzzis worked, Employee offered to bring buckets of hot water to fill the jacuzzi which is insane. THEH HAVE COCKROACHES, and the staff is constantly painting over mold that they have throughout the hotel. Have been to 30 plus all inclusive resorts and this resort is more like staying at a motel 6. Would never stay here again and if you have a reservation I hope you change it before they ruin your whole entire vacation. We met so many people on the trip that had the same issues and hotel staff did not care at all

Il resort e molto bello, ben tenuto e pulito, abbiamo avuto un problema di acqua calda che e stato risolto dopo aver dovuto chiamare parecchie volte, in camera per il servizio bar abbiamo dovuto chiedere quasi tutti i giorni il caffè per 3 persone, ma ogni volta avevamo la stessa risposta, il caffè e per 2 persone. I prodotti di pulizia tipo shower gel, shampoo ect ect non sono mai stati riempiti e, le asciugamani se non richieste ogni volta per 3 persone erano sempre per 2 o mancanti in tutti i formati. Il mangiare a parte il ristorante Giapponese non e un granché,pochissime cose buone. Per il resto un bellissimo posto. Piccola pecca...troppi profumatori nelle aree comuni e nei ristoranti, per i miei gusti troppo fastidiosi!! spese nel ristorante Francese che , per questo motivo talmente forte che non abbiano neanche cenato

Estuvimos 5 dias 4 noches y pedimos una habitación en el edificio el beso con jacuzzi, a pesar de comunicarnos durante 3 dias con el personal de servicio al cliente no pudieron repararlo correctamente y no lo pudimos disfrutar, apesar de haber pagado de más por este tipo de habitación.

Property was very very clean, and each staff member we interacted with was so sweet and helpful; especially the trolly guys. Our room was clean and pretty. Bed sheets had a stain on them, but we called right away and someone was at our room in under 10 minutes to completed change everything. We stayed in El Beso, but just a heads up that El Beso offers premium which lets you use the larger pool and nice beach chair areas. Restaurants were pretty good. Loved the short rib at Blue Moon. Drinks were fantastic and the pool bartenders (Louis in particular) were perfect. Buffet can be very overstimulating but offers a bunch of options, just avoid going during peak times (which they advised us of in advance). The beach was great, we got massages done right next door for cheap and they were right on the water which was lovely. Pool chairs, especially in EL Beso area, are all gone before 6:30 am as everyone goes out early and lays their towel down with clips or bands to reserve chairs so just be prepared. Gift shop is EXTREMELY over prices ($19 for a bag of gold fish) but I understand it's about convince more than anything. we bought a floaty there also and they happily inflated it for us. We wanted to extend our trip due to our flight being canceled but sadly they were fully booked. The trip was for my birthday and they made dinner reservations which was nice.

We did not get the room we booked. When we brought this up with the staff, they told us they don't sell beds, they sell rooms and views. The room we booked was a King Bed Junior Suite with Ocean View. We got a double bed with a slither of the ocean view above the trees. This also is not an "Adults Only" resort. This is a resort with a very small Adults Only section. They adults only restaurant hours were very inconvenient and the food was subpar. Just overall not what we are used. The one good thing is the staff was very friendly, although not very helpful during the stay when we needed something.

was a bit scared with some mixed reviews but it was genuinely the best first all inclusive experience i could have asked for! food was delicious, service was outstanding and the animals were the cherry on top. would definitely recommend

It started with a very enthusiastic greeting from Elias who went out of his way for the 9 days we stayed to take care of all us (3 couples) and ensure a seamless experience. The staff at the El Beso swim up bar were also amazing! The rooms were spotless and well maintained. The food in the buffet was varied and there was plenty of it at all times. The specialty restaurants were all delicious and menus were well planned and executed. We chose to enjoy the Valentines Day beach front evening dining experience and it was well worth it! All in all we had a wonderful time and will return to the Ocean line of resorts again and again(4th one in 2.5 yrs.)
