"The resort was clean and kept immaculate by very hard working staff. Our Butler Richard made our stay so enjoyable. He went above and beyond, he surprised us by decorating our room for our Anniversary, making all our reservations and just checking on us to make sure our stay great!! "Favorite resort in Punta Cana. Short drive there, great food, well maintained. Been to 6 other resorts and Joia is the best for us. Average age is probably 50, but we like that. No stupid stuff by the pool ruining the vibe, people have respect for other travelers. Nice change from other less laidback resorts. Not for the 21-35 crowd. "

"I am here now and I love the adult side! The ambiance is great.. there was a gentleman playing sax and a female playing violin.. different nights but each an 1.5 hrs long during dinner.. they were enchanting.. the adult side is so laid back and relaxing...quiet atmosphere.. the adult pool closest to the lobby is packed.
