Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas - Adults Only- All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"There was nothing wrong at all with this stay at Riu Las Americas. The many restaurants made choices wonderfully difficult every day. Every meal was delicious. The nightly entertainment was lots of fun and the pools very clean and perfectly refreshing without being too warm. The lobby and grounds are truly magnificent and comfortable enough to hang out in, as many guests do. The lobby and luxurious bar were perfect places to have a before or after dinner drink.The only drawback at all was the sea weed on the beach, which was unfortunate, but did not detract from our experience at this super hotel. Highly recommended!"

"This place was AMAZING! Staff was super friendly! We enjoyed it so much that we stayed an extra two days. When we got here they upgraded our room at no charge! Our room stayed immaculate. Everyone was super helpful and friendly and the view was amazing. The only thing I didn’t like is that they don’t take discover card, and the ATM did not work so myself and another guest had to walk about 6mins away to use the ATM. But that’s minor. The food in LaYoya could have been better also, just looked like green vomit with a piece of salmon on top. Would definitely recommend and stay here again."

"Stayed beginning of June for 4 nights. Wonderful resort. I have stayed at 6 other "brand" resorts in the Cancun area in the recent years and this was my first time at Live Aqua. If you are looking for luxury with a calm, relaxing atmosphere - this is the place. The pools and cabanas are wonderful, excellent beach (minus the seaweed, not their fault). So many little surprises we stumbled onto just walking around and exploring the pool area. They had the BEST food I've ever had at a resort! The evening dining experience was top tier. (Ask for Caesar at the restaurants, he was so fabulous with recommendations off the menu and will completely take care of you!) Not a party resort at all; just for peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend this resort to anyone."

"The stay and my time was the best I’ve had in a long while. Activities amazing!! Food was. try tasty but a bigger variety would be nice. Room, furniture needs to be updated. Tears on the couch and liquor dispenser and shower head showed signs of rust. Overall however, I didn’t want for anything!!!"

"Food was horrible we had an issue with a waiter that had cussed at my 10 year old son all because he couldn’t shut off ice cream machine he called him a cabron. We had to tell 3 different people manager waiter and concierge before anyone approached us about situation which was 3 days after later that week we caught same guy drinking behind the bar on the job. Not enough wait staff at bars constantly they were running out of cups for drinks we were sent away or ignored. Also throw up floated the pool for 2 days straight. The gym had only 3 machines that worked and at that they wouldn’t stay on! Shows where not that great it was very hot in the theater no ac. I will never stay there again and for what we spent we deserved better"

"This hotel is a very nice and well managed hotel centrally located in Mexico City to almost anywhere you want to go. Walking distance to just about anything that you need and many scenic spots for photos. The staff is wonderful from the minute you walk in until the minute you leave. The front desk, the concierge, the restaurant staff, and housekeeping are all fantastic. Two restaurants on site, one formal and the other much more every day where and food type. Very good. The pool is much smaller than the photos depict but that’s not horrible. Overall, I enjoyed my stay for a week here very much and will definitely return."
