"Stayed here for a week in mid april and absolutely loved the adults only section. Food could be improved and much attention should be given to vegan/vegatarian people as well"

"Clean rooms, grounds are beautiful. Food is just okay. Drinks are very good. Pool and beach area absolutely stunning. However no direct drink/food service at the beach. Buffet food is basic. Only good restaurants are the steakhouse and Japanese. Must make restaurant reservations the night before. "

"This was the worst experience. I will not ever book through Expedia again or recommend this resort. The resort never had our reservation after booking through Expedia the resort said they could “up grade” us for our inconvenience, they actually double charged me. They told me the entire stay would be $1200, 30mins later they came and told me they needed to run my card again for the Expedia amount of $1900. They told me this my confusion. I tried to work this out with Expedia to dispute the $1200 charge but they refused to help. The resort was out of running water for half the day, the staff was rude, we were only allowed to book two reservations for dinner (even after our upgrade) and were told we had to eat at the buffet the remainder of the time. Our charger that was plugged into the wall and melted, we were smelling burnt wires well it our phone charger. Also you get hassled on the beach daily to buy things. I did use my Apple Pay and they gave themselves $60 tip. The best part about the trip was the company because all we could do was laugh at everything. Do not go to this resort "

"The property was spotless and well maintained. The room was clean and spacious, however, it had a weird moldy smell. The resort was impressive and they try hard to create a calm and relaxing experience. The beach was beautiful. Some of the issues, if I can really call them issues, were the beach and pool chairs, especially the good ones, were reserved by people putting their towels there, despite not using them for hours. I even got up at 7am and they were already locked in. In mexico, they would remove any towels before 730am. Most of the patrons were quite old so I assume they get up at the crack of dawn to reserve the chairs. The food at the resort was just Ok. They do try hard to make it a good experience but everything was just ok. mostly bland to be honest. One major complaint about the beach is the soliciting. How many times does a person have to ask me if I want braids or an excursion in an hour? it was so excessive I wanted to go to the pool. Also kids with their parents walking on to our beach. While it seems petty, I booked to get away from it and no one was there to tell them to go back to the family side. Lastly, the bars shut down pretty early which made no sense being an adults only and if we wanted food past 10pm we had to go to the family side? Tipping the staff is a must if you want to get drinks in a timely fashion. All that said, I would highly recommend and return. "
