Service, especially the front desk staff, check in and out process - is VERY poor. They put wristband on and dont explain what you get, and why. At checkout I asked why was mine orange when most others were purple for privilege, and they said: its because Expedia gives you extra rewards and perks. Would be nice to mention at checkin. Lady barely even looked our way as we came up, was looking annoyed by our presence, and was just not nice. I didnt want to ask a question because I didnt want to annoy her.
Hotel lets in locals with a day pass, which they are not equipped to handle. Pools were overcrowded and filthy at times. Someone took one of our towels and they wanted to charhe me $30 at checkout for it, but forgave dt AC leak which I had to fight for.
Buffet seating staff was rude at times when they saw us switch a chair (it had bird poop on it, a lot of chairs did since birds do fly in). We had a conditioner leak in the room our last evening there, leaked all over where our shoes were, so we drove back in wet shoes. Try to avoid the 4th floor because the ac can't cool it down to your desired temp, and the balcony area roof is fallen apart thanks to wind and birds so our swimsuits got wet with every rain. My brother stayed on 3rd floor and the balconies of the 4th covered them.
As to the positives - sportsbar was really cool to hangout in, the food was really good, the privilege rooms were really nice in size and closet space and just all over comfy!
