Had the worst experience with the security team and guest services on my last day there (today). Guest services lady was rude, talking in Spanish to other staff about me in a rude way (I DL a translator app on my daughter’s iPad so I could understand what she was saying). Security manager wouldn’t look at the cameras, even while saying there were cameras at the location it went missing. I asked them to check the “staff only” area as my map showed that’s where my iPhone was last seen before it was likely turned off. Security manager wanted to follow his “process” by flipping my bed mattresses & going through my belongings to rule out I didn’t have it. I recorded a bit of it- I couldn’t believe how ridiculous all this was. They had no intention to help. They lied continuously. I called them out on their lies (I.e. I asked if the staff only area was a locker area, guest service lady said no, although staff were walking out of there with purses and bags, and coming out without it). They wouldn’t let me use their phone to call the police to file a complaint. The whole situation was so messed up. I’ve heard of horror stories like this, but never encountered it firsthand until now. Entertainment staff, cleaning staff and restaurant staff were excellent. Guest services needs to get rid of this lady, & the security team really needs a new boss. Definitely going to be staying at better quality hotels in the future. Won’t be going back there. My phone was eventually turned in by a guest
