"My stay at Riu Montego Bay was fun overall. The resort was clean, the staff was absolutely amazing, and I had a great time. The one thing I felt was missing was a stronger Jamaican experience. Many people travel to Jamaica to enjoy the local culture, and I think the resort could do more to showcase it. "This property in Jamaica is great! The check-in let us down. We did book with the Privilege service upgrade. Their is a small dedicated section for persons booked with this service which is nice, however, the check-in time to get the room after the scheduled 3PM check-in was over 2hrs. "Rooms were clean for the most part. The air was working on and off during the day it was not working but at night it worked just fine. Floors were wet and very slippery. Food was mid and we saw a roach at the buffet while eating dinner."

"Positives Staff - The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Grounds - Immaculate Activities - There are many activities to choose from. You literally cant be bored unless you want to be. Food - They have a wide variety each day Negatives: Rooms - Looks and feels average. There was nothing special about it. "The property on the Lady Hamilton side is very nice and there are tons of amenities and the beach is very close by. The rooms are large and a bit dated, but they do the job. The only drawback I would say with this resort is that the staff don't seem to be aware of a lot of what's happening and they don't inform you of the different amenities that are available to you so we found out a lot of things towards the end of our trip.
