"Had an excellent overnight stay here whilst we visited Kew Gardens. The room was a good size and very clean. The staff were very friendly and efficient and I would be happy to stay here again."

"It isn’t a large hotel which makes it much more personable. Beautiful spacious rooms, especially the ones over looking the river with Juliet balcony, where you can watch the ducks & swans- all very idyllic. Staff are helpful & always available. Downstairs gives plenty of traditional country style pub vibes. If you are looking for an upmarket place to relax & chill out, this is the place to be. A major plus is the free on site parking. There is a 2 tier parking area next to hotel. Only issue...

"Pleasantly surprised. Was booked as an overnight pit stop for Thorpe park but actually wished we’d spent more time there. Quirky, cosy and everything you needed like ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries, coffee machine etc. even snack in the room (chargeable). Literally 5 mins to Thorpe park "

"Lovely hotel and pub. Room was impressive, nice and large, and spotlessly clean Super king bed was unexpected. Rarely seen in many hotels so this was a definite delight. Only downside to the pub as a guest was we were unable to get a nightcap on our return at 11pm. Breakfast very nicely set out. Ingredients fresh and flavoursome. If returning to the are, will definitely stay again. "
