"We enjoyed our stay. The beach was beautiful, though the water was a little chillier than I expected in April and a bit rough. There should be more umbrellas at the beach for sun protection. You have to wake up super early to reserve chairs for the beach or pool. If you’re not there quickly after reserving them, the staff will remove your towels. "Great family-oriented place for kids. There were plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained, which made our trip enjoyable. The staff was a bit rude at the beginning of our stay, which was disappointing, but things improved as our trip went on. By the end of our stay, the service was much better and helped make the overall experience more pleasant."

"It’s a timeshare resort with a timeshare crowd. Room and amenities are good, not amazing; just be prepared to be nickel and dimed for the all inclusive, random rules like dress codes at different times of day, etc. Decent value for the money, but not a true luxury all-inclusive experience."

"We had to move after 2 nights b/c they were doing construction outside our door. The 1st night in the 2nd place a woman let herself into our room with the key, saying she booked it through airbnb. She’s been given the wrong info. 2 days later we couldn’t use the balcony b/c they were power washing right above it. Our stovetop has electrocuted me multiple times even though I was very careful after the 1st time. Our 5th night the microwave lit on fire. 2 security guys came to to try to find out...

"Property was amazing, staff were wonderful, and the food was better than expected. Only gripe we had was the AC in our room was not working properly. We requested maintenance to come and take a look and they trouble-shooted the issue with no solution. The room continued to be hot and humid throughout the stay. Other than that issue, the GR Solaris Caribe was a hit with us. The App was fairly good just needed a few tweaks. "

"This is a horrible old property that is being offerred at exuburate prices. It has a motel feel. We tried 3 restaurants and all had horrible food. We ended up going across the street to Ilios for some good food, Luckily we were only there for one night. "
